Bio:
Sarah Farina is an international DJ, music producer, curator and activist. She hosts and curates the interdisciplinary Berlin event series Emergent Bass with her friends, which focuses on the historical awareness of cultural contexts
of music and celebrates and uplifts the Afro-diasporic influences in underground club culture.

She’s innovative, she’s skilful, and she’s the smiling antithesis of genre cliques and sour scene elitists and sprinkles positivity over the darkest bass.
What you hear is all you need to know. And what you’ll hear from Sarah Farina’s sets and music productions are seamlessly blended bass-heavy frequencies and futuristic beats with fearless forays through the hardcore
continuum and beyond.

It’s inclusive, forward-thinking and unrestrained. It’s a genre-rejecting style that she’s named Rainbow Bass.
She’s vocal about the issues of current club culture and runs the project „Transmission“ with researcher Dr. Kerstin Meißner, which aims to make the political relevance and history of international sound, club and rave culture audible and visible.

Melanchromie steht nie still. Auf dem Floor oder hinter den Decks, Hauptsache der Schrittzähler brennt. Mit elektronischer Musik kam die gebürtige Berlinerin früh in Kontakt. Schnell war es ihr ein Anliegen, die Szene mitzugestalten. Denn was ist besser als tanzen? Genau, tanzen UND die Musik aussuchen. Heute ist sie neben ihrer Arbeit als Fotografin auch als DJ unterwegs, organisiert Underground Partys und porträtiert andere Künstler*innen. Seit 2023 ist sie Resident DJ bei Silikon.

Gate to Venus is a Berlin-based duo featuring Cecilie Beck and Gabriel Gordon. Formed in the summer of 2019, their first single "Gate to Venus" was co-written while Gordon was on the ground in Germany and Beck was flying over the Arctic Ocean. They sent each other voice memos and lyrics and completed the song within an hour. 2 weeks later they debuted the song on stage. The same week they went to Kaiser Base Studios in Berlin and recorded the track with producer Robert Philipp. They are currently filming a music video in Denmark and writing and recording a full length album which will be released in the spring of 2020. Gate to Venus is looking forward to performing their new music live and have already booked an interactive planetary tour on Earth.

Cecilie Beck is a Danish singer-songwriter, piano player and visual artist. During her education within fine arts she lived in 5 different countries. This brought her to NYC, where she lived for nearly 8 years before moving to Berlin in the beginning of 2019. She has released 2 solo albums as well as 2 EPs and exhibited multiple audiovisual projects. She is working on an experimental album which focuses on the sound of light.

Gabriel Gordon is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born in California. During his career he has toured, written and recorded with a variety of established artists throughout the world. He has released 9 solo albums as well as numerous collaborative projects and is currently in the process of recording his next album.
