I am here to immerse myself in the captivating exploration of the psychological and experiential dimensions of music. Crafting sonic compositions from sine waves, zeroes and ones, translated through the medium of air vibrations, establishes a unique connection between the artist's conceptualized emotion or idea and the listener's subjective experience. The process of transmitting these coded messages, whether through the internet or a sound system, resonating with ear drums, unfolds as a truly captivating phenomenon.

Slaycub is the all-encompassing music project of Jacob Höglind, communicating his ideas through the limitless medium of electronic music, not tethered to any one subgenre. Driven by experimentation, the goal of the project is to be an ever-expanding exploration of human expression, and to further the possibilities of sound and its vicarious messages.

What has drawn him to the psychedelic realm of music is the dichotomy of dreamy and fiery elements coexisting. An intimate love for ambient music fuses with deep fascination for sound design and world-building, the result a catalog of exquisite creations. Smigonaut aka Josh Kipersztok is a producer and DJ who combines the power of bass-heavy electronic music with the finesse of jazz and hip-hop. He produces beats, downtempo, drum & bass, and more with a style that is refined and psychedelic yet playful and fun. From 2014 to 2020, he performed throughout the Northeast U.S. and released several EPs and singles. He caught the attention of discerning audiences and was nominated for Dance/Electronic Artist of the Year at the 2020 Boston Music Awards. After relocating to Los Angeles, Josh released his debut LP Antithesis with The Rust Music in 2022 which has seen a sold-out vinyl release and more than 800,000 digital streams to-date. He has since performed in every region of the U.S. and supported acts including Koan Sound, Jade Cicada, and Spoonbill.
