O-Nuit Noire Funk

About ten years ago, around this time, I was at the Gare de Lyon, on my first visit to Paris. I still remember the awkwardness of not speaking the language, having lunch at the Café des 2 Moulins, the grave of Oscar Wilde, and my desire to be there as an artist. I didn't know I could be one yet. But this music is not really about that. This is the theme of a tragic prince, an artist too. Once kind and shy, he then started a war against his loved ones.
