The annual Chicago Ducky Derby will take place on August 7th. Thousands of rubber ducks will race down the Chicago River in support of the Special Olympics.

The highly anticipated summer event, organized by Special Olympics Illinois, will feature a thrilling descent of 100,000 rubber ducks from the iconic Columbus Drive Bridge into the waters of the Chicago River. Welcome! Here is the 355th chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. Released every two weeks the serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week Thomas Nordmann finally makes his  debut here on Deep Electronics with a amazing dubtechno set. Sop Enjoy!

Bio:
Thomas Nordmann started DJing in 1999 and was immediately offered a residency after he has handing out his first demotape! This was the start of his career which was followed by many more invitations to DJ at various events. With his great variety of sound he makes every party a 'bangin' event where his styles range from dreamy-tuneful beach- and barsound with a mixture of the latest techhouse and electro beats, through to the hardtechno and industrial vibes. That's making it easy for him to adjust to any crowd. Meanwhile he conquers not only many german clubs, like the TRESOR - Berlin, the former Ultraschall – Munich, Triebwerk – Dresden, but also numerous other renowned locations all over Europe such as the Hangar 1 / Oostende (Belgium), Lifka / Subotica (Serbia), Colosseum / Rijeka (Croatia),  Pacha / Ischgl + Cave Club / Salzburg (Austria) plus various events and festivals as well as appearing on radio shows.

Since 2000 he has expressed his love of music with his own compositions. He began to show his darker side as a member of X-Tension, with releases for example on Artillery Records, Industrial Strength, Combat Skill, Madhouse Recordings and Men in Motion. They were such a big achievement, that very soon solo-tracks followed. You can find these on Artillery, Industrial Strength, Destruction Records, Datablender amo.His softer side he showed with releases on Elektrax, DARKNET, Naked Lunch Records, Hypnotic Room and Slap Jaxx. So look forward to more of his new creations! 

On Bandcamp friday his two track EP Frequent Transistions will be released on the Deep Electronics label.

Dep Affect has been making electronic music since he was 12, living in regional Western Australia.
