Higher Vibe is a six-piece instrumental band drawing from  jazz, hip hop, r&b, and soul. Led by saxophonist Dominic Missana, this dynamic group is making waves with an unprecedented contemporary repertoire and interactive performance style.
 
​Higher Vibe was created by Dominic Missana in May 2010 in Buffalo, NY. The group played their first North Eastern Tour last summer 2013 and now resides in New York City. 
 
During the beginning stages of the group, they had the honor and privilege to have Jerry Livingston play bass in (Rick James' former Bassist). Higher Vibe has opened up for Snarky Puppy and had the honor to share the stage with Bernard Purdie and Grant Green Jr.
