First released in 2013, the track "Nobody" by Teklife crew duo Tripletrain (DBK & Mel G) became a cult favorite among producers, djs, and club goers alike. It features distorted lyrics and samples from the classic single Are You That Somebody by Aaliyah, along with tons of drums, chords, and patterns which sound just as refreshing as they did when the EP "Just For Decoration Pt 2" was first released by Tripletrain 9 years ago. They've collected remixes over the years from some of their friends and favorite artists. These are those remixes! ENJOY

BSN Posse returns to Modern Ruin with an emphatic and loving ode to the world of footwork music.

The 'Drifting EP' spans 11 tracks, with notable remixers familiar to the imprint in Nikes, Stayhigh, Sideswipe, Footmerc and Rootless. Newcomers Manul & Energyman contribute the only non-footwork track in their remix of the title track - taking influence from rave days of old juxtaposed against UK garage music.

The prolific duo of BSN Posse contribute 5 trademark yet experimental footwork originals.
'Soul Train' and 'M.Y.B' are both characterized by a vocal chop supported by uplifting and melancholy melodies respectively. 

'Hey, Break It Down' changes things up with a milder melody, carried to the end by a gritty midrange and a catchy vocal. Stayhigh ups the ante with a hectic but skillful manipulation of the original.

'About U' is vintage BSN Posse with the classic rhodes, accompanied ably by Sideswipe's and Nikes' remixes. Sideswipe moves into half time while Nikes ventures between footwork and into jungle and drum and bass territory deftly.

'Drifting' is the victory lap of the album, taking itself from start to finish with euphoric horns and militant drums.
