Bound By Endogamy is a duo active since 2019. It consists of Shlomo Balexert and Kleio Thomaïdes (also vocalist for Savage Grounds since 2021). Both musicians come from the squat/ punk scene. In live performance, their project is reduced to a drum kit, a sampler, and female vocals. It has been described as a cross between DAF and Kleenex. Their first 7’’ has been released on Lux Rec last year.

Bulgarian dark mastermind MANASYt（Petar Tassev) has been rocking his own brand of Nurolektro since 2003. He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Bunker, Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6 and Musar. An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre.
Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic but most sound like what exactly hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.
Currently based in Amoy, China.

Gegen Mann is a musical project of Moscow producer and DJ Alexander Lomakin. The project focuses on the dark side of the musical spectrum combined with a melodic and mast occult background.

As a DJ, Gegen Mann is absolutely not limited by stylistic boundaries, but he gives special preference to EBM, Dark Disco, New Beat and early Goa Trance.

Gegen Mann already has releases on labels such as Detriti Records, Oberwave, Fil-Lexx Records, Hypnotic Connection, Voltage Tension, Nein Records, SOIL Records, as well as dozens of remixes.

Also, along with Disco Morato, is the co-founder of Maxima Culpa Records and the podcast series of the same name.

@marco-conway is a Graphic designer and Dj currently based in North London. Focusing on the extremities of human emotion in his dj sets, fusing neo contemporary classical, Ebm, film scores and samples, power electronics and industrial music to create a visceral and  theme heavy based collage of music. Currently working with London based art collective Chronic Illness and various record labels worldwide, his approach to art design and curating mixes has become a symbiotic process, always focusing on a story to be told through tracks and samples. This mix is a second part of his insect politics series which debuted on Hora Gotica radio, exploring themes of 80s body horror through synth based artists that echo this era of the rhythmic and grotesque.

As the digits align and we reach our 111th podcast, it gives us great pleasure to welcome Daniele Cosmo into the fold. We’ve become increasingly impressed by Cosmo in his ventures at the helm of Lux Rec, providing the perfect distillation of the decade spanning crossover between vintage technology and new ideas within a rough framework of grubby house and techno. With all the industrial, coldwave and synth-addled influences that feed into the signings to Lux, we felt sure that a mix from the man himself would come up with just as many time-travelling surprises.

As well as curating all things Lux and recently launching the MRT sub-label, Cosmo also turns his hands to production from his Zürich stomping ground. He makes up one half of Savage Grounds with Florin Büchel (also known as CCO), the pair having dropped the Over Fences EP last year. On Lux’s label defining The Dying Lights compilation, he teamed up with Italian producer Luciano Lamanna to whip up “The Darkest Hour”, prompting Oli Warwick to hail the track, “a wonderfully bloated and extravagant celebration of gutter-wave sludge techno.”

The hour-long mix Cosmo submitted is, by his own admission, representative of what you might experience him playing in the club; expect to hear An-i rubbing up against L.I.E.S. artist Slugbug and MRT discovery Tuning Circuits. He was also kind enough to answer in details some questions we had on Zürich, MRT, and some of the lessons he's learned running Lux Rec over the past five years.
