We are here to bounce on post-club or deconstructed dance music also known as anti-club, the genre that is gaining momentum by pulling apart the conventions of techno. Crafting a clever space of in-betweenness and experimentation, woman, queer and gender non-conforming artists have been leading the scene since its beginning in the 2010s.

This mix-tape is mostly dedicated to them, with old favs and new releases.

In this special show Alex Head meets author, broadcaster, historian and commentator Jared Yates Sexton (US). They discuss everything from the current decline of the British way of life to toxic masculinity, algorithmically governed culture, conspiracy theorist useful idiots and more.

Jared’s bi-weekly Muckrake Political Podcast, together with political commentator Nick Haussleman has traced the recent mutation or epi-mutation of the decline of US liberal democracy. Sexton’s recent work in print is The Midnight Kingdom, available on Penguin Random House.

Double Goocher Shop is the project of Italian artist Renato Grieco and Australian artist MP Hopkins. ‘Mouths Wide Close’ is a radio drama that is very loosely based on the Molière play ‘The Hypochondriac’ (1673). 'Mouths Wide Closed’ uses a combination of English, Italian, and invented word.

Born in 1876, Weimar-era gay publisher and activist Friedrich Radszuweit joined public gay life in 1923, when he founded the Bund für Menschenrecht (Federation for Human Rights, or BfM) in Berlin and began publishing dozens of gay, lesbian, and trans*-themed periodicals. The BfM grew to become the largest (indeed in some sense the only) mass-membership LGBT organization of its time. It claimed 100,000 members. Too bad its founder would end up advocating for collaboration with the Nazis. Huw Lemmey and Ben Miller present another episode of their podcast about the evil and complicated queers of history.
