salām, an arabic word that literally means "peace" is a new creation which happened recently, from a melody composed over 2 years ago during a meditation gathering... based on raga bhairavi. santoor played by manish and milind date playing beautiful bansuri flute.

This is a collaboration with Davide Swarup, wonderful hangdrum-player, and "the cosmic mermaids", a female trio created for the occasion, consisting of myself, Annette Münster and Julie Sommer. The three of us are singing and I am playing the guitar as well. We did a few rehersals before the concerts so there's lots of  improvisations.

We had two concerts a day for three days, inside a Mausoleum with natural reverb. No mic or speakers involved..amazing!
The Mausoleum is all "affresco" from the artist that built it and now he is resting there.

It was such a nice atmosphere. For one and half hour the audience was laying down, receiving massage, someone was dancing.. Thank you to all who came!
