Madloch's 3rd Avenue is pleased to welcome back Argentinian producer Gero Pellizzon with his first solo release on the label, the Sonar EP. After making his debut earlier this year on the We Are the Future 2025, Vol. 1 compilation, Gero returns with a project that highlights his melodic sensibility and finely tuned approach to progressive house.

Alongside the original, the EP features three diverse remixes from an international selection of artists. Argentina's Kevin Yair delivers a deep and hypnotic take, while US-based producer Ev Rymd reimagines the track with his atmospheric and textured style. Rounding out the package, Brazilian duo Cipriani & Hans Gerd join forces for a collaborative rework, infusing Sonar with driving rhythms and a warm, emotive edge.

Artefakt come from the deepest branch of techno. The partnership of Robin Koek (Cyspe) and Nick Lapien (Metropolis, Rhine) have explored subterranean caverns, dense forests and unknown lands on labels like Prologue, Field and Delsin and their latest three track expedition on DSC continues that journey into the beyond. “Raid” is a near nine minute odyssey, a trip into shimmering cymbals, acid growls, placid lakes and ritualistic rhythms. The flip finds a breaking in the dense foliage: “The Radiant City”, a sanctuary of soaring strings, soothing pads and entrancing harmonies. “Lichtspiel” writes a different tale. Muted tones are ruffled by an industrial edge, the hand of man and the rise of the machine blended with a natural and organic warmth. A 12” rooted in the undisturbed and unspoilt lands of the ancient.

Stroboscopic Artefacts returns with another strong addition to its Totem series, a unique set of releases pressed on transparent 10” vinyl, capturing the essence and effusiveness of multidimensionality of club culture. Bridging the gap between the worlds of sound and material objects, Totem is a series that aims to meld the artistic resonance of each forthcoming release into an emblematic representation of the sounds that are to be presented, clearly within the grooves seen and heard on the 10”. Stepping up for the third release in the series is Berlin legend Efdemin — bringing a three-track journey that is unequivocally enduring and flexible for journeys on-and-off the dancefloor.

While each track shares the same title, the textures and traits are different — with the A1, “Circles” setting things up with pertinent percussion and staccato synth lines; as Efdemin sways towards another side with “Left” — a heady, hedonistic thumper with exuberant melodic bursts; followed by a therapeutic sequel with “Right” — closing out the release with a melange of spacious efficacy, something the Berlin-based producer has been known for throughout his near-two-decade career. Between releasing for the likes of Ostgut Ton, Curle, Dial, and his own imprint Naïf; Efdemin takes on the challenge of Totem’s conceptual subjugation and subverts it with his emotionally honest take on a stimulating and subdural sonic experience within three parts. Narratively dense and expertly-paced, the Totem series carries on with another outer-worldly insertion to its catalog.

Russian based Confluence steps up for for Avoidant’s 5th release, dropping the electro soaked, Shed.  Having focused mainly on his techno output for sometime, he breaks his mould with this excellently produced, intense 3 track EP. 

Title track Shed opens the EP with a straight up, funked out electro beat that is torn asunder by a huge and emphatic baseline that is designed to obliterate any dance floor. We Are keeps the groove flowing as a more evolving and mutating hook delivers a more ominous and foreboding track. Canyon Of Time closes the EP on a deeper, break-y tip as his use of a varied sonic palette shows his flexibility as a producer
