With over 20 years of travels through different world traditions, Gio has dedicated the past years to recording ceremonial and traditional sounds from around the world and more specifically the Middle East. Now, some of the world's brightest talents, including some new and emerging artists, took these recordings and created their own versions inspired by these sounds. All proceeds of this album will be donated to Musicians Without Borders, an NGO providing children in areas of conflict with musical education. Ladies and gentlemen, from a mysterious place in the Mesoamerican jungle we have found a treasure, a mystical object called Yokha. If you are ready to see it, it's a treasure that we will share with you today, come with us…

Yokha is a journey into the depths of the jungle, an invitation to a secret ritual. A spiritual union of energies between two souls connected through artistic creation. Conceived by Cyma and Janax Pacha, two sound artisans from South America who on this occasion immerse us in the rhythms of dances and melodic textures that, suspended like lianas, they dialogue harmoniously between the heat of the fire and the mysterious gazes of the jungle.

As one of the stellar releases of Cosmovision Records this year, a collaboration full of magic and colors. All this accompanied by 3 stars of folktronica and downtempo music such as Rodrigo Gallardo, Uji and our house artist Hajna, forming an EP full of life and nature elements that shine on its own.

The wonderful art was made by our genius friend El Tripador and as always, the download is free in "pay what you can" mode on Bandcamp plus available as well in all platforms.

A total of NINE amazing musical journeys of the soul. You can dance or drift into the cosmos in astral flight, or both! This is a powerful journey back into time, through the cradle of civilization in India and Pakistan.

"Hindu Kush"
This song is trippy, funky, groovy, deep, and multi-dimensional. This is the heart of the EP. We journey into the heart of the Hindu Kush Mountains, seeking the source of the Indus River, seeking the beginning of history, of civilization, of our consciousness in the highest spiritual way. It feels like a really deep high from the very best Hindu Kush strain of Indica cannabis.

"Indus"
This song is the stage of the journey where we find the Indus River, water of life, source of humanity, source of the spirit. This song is heavenly, celestial, and even more transcendental than Hindu Kush. It begins with deep, droning sitar, super meditative in atmosphere, otherworldly, set to a mesmerizing tabla drum. When we encounter the pure, fast-flowing headwaters, we are filled with the mighty rush of divine water and wind from high in the mountain and high in the heavens. The groove is established with a funky sitar and bass sequence.

"Anant Bhor"
In Hindi, "Anant Bhor" means "Eternal Dawn". This is the climax, the final stage of our journey, where we have completed the circle. The mighty and loving sun has risen in the early morning. Bansuri, sitar, running water, birds singing, tabla drums setting the rhythm. The Moog synthesizer in a deep, deep, deep arpeggio, opens our souls to the circle of eternity. Beauty, gentleness, kindness, mercy. All things we need to be healed and whole.

So let us see with the Eye of Mind and Heart into Infinite realms of the great unseen, choosing wonderful feelings without concrete reasons and all the Riches of the Kingdom are now ours to redeem.
