Can't stop / won't stop listening to this, so let's put in here one more lucky coin and say that : 1/ the music is fantastic (this is for gentlemen Dunc & Ian) 2/ the sound is fantastic (this is for sir Rich) 3/ this live recording can be considered as a true album with a beginning, an end and so many things in between including highlights and 4/ 1'17'' is the perfect length, isn't it ? Never say goodbye to a good ol' CD (I don't !)

No stranger to DJing alongside ALFOS's Sean Johnston as per scenes back in the days of Electric Elephant at Barbarellas, this was actually Massey's very first time playing for ALFOS.

Picking things up right after Rinny's superb opening set, this is a diverse & genre hot footing selection of chuggy rave based antics (including a few choice Sprechen releases!) which lay down the foundations before Sean took over.

Last Friday we held our 5th birthday at Headrow House and it was more than a pleasure to hand over the evening to Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's A Love From Outer Space for a 6 hour set. If you were there, you'll know what a fantastic journey it was amongst the smoke and strobes. Hard to think of another dance-floor experience like ALFOS that locks you in for the duration with such thrilling music. If you missed out, we recorded the whole thing. Clandestino 114 - A Love From Outer Space

tici taci - bringing you electric funk rekkids at tempos below 120 bpm. No pre-packed freeze dried loops here, all tracks have live instruments well to the fore, from funky wah-wah guitars and deep chunky bass to temperamental analogue synthesisers and live percussion.

Now 2 years later (July 2015) we're at 23 releases from a range of artists and remixers, with one release scheduled each month.


Duncan Gray (biog) : Perhaps best known as one half of the Sons of Slough along with Ian Weatherall - see discogs entry for details of releases. The Sons were a formidable Live act (see You tube) playing regularly across the UK. DG's own releases also gained some popularity, starting with cuts for Scatological (1996) Blue Black, Whole9Yards, SaltHill, through to Aquamelon (2009). Since returning to music production in 2013 he has released tracks on NEIN, Eskimo, Blindetonation, Play Pal, Rock to The Beat, plus Andrew Weatherall's vinyl only Birdscarer label. He has played guitar on half a dozen AW remixes.

Yes, I do want to hear new tracks. I am always interested in music which features REAL INSTRUMENTS - or electronic originality. I'm getting fussy these days...please email files to the email address above. (don't just send a soundcloud link please) If you don't know what the sound of this label is like, don't bother sending me stuff. I get quite a few demos with a note saying "I love the sound of your label" from producers who have clearly never listened to any of our releases.

PLEASE NOTE : 2020 release schedule now full, but I can always make room for something spectacular, or a really cool remix...
