This week, we visit a dear friend of ours in Ulm, Germany:  talented techno DJ-producer Tor-zen (https://soundcloud.com/tor-zen).  He is a true light to our community and world.  He is richly blessed with music talent and even more, an immense heart, finer than gold.  He has survived plenty of hardships in life, with the greatest being his recent battle with cancer.  You will not here him speak boastfully about any of this.  His level of peaceful, loving, humility is truly incredible.  His authenticity is deeply rooted in the spiritual victories that have been won in life.  You can feel the grace and positive energy in his soul and words.
He introduced Desert Raven (https://soundcloud.com/desertravenmusic) to their mutual friend, eXtreme 4 (https://soundcloud.com/extreme4).  Desert Raven and eXtreme 4 have an incredible upcoming organic house release:  "A Shepherd's Song".
Tor-zen is what represents the very best of German techno.  The hard, clean sounds, filled with emotional power, yet infused with beautiful melodies.  Not necessarily melodic techno, but hard techno with a soul and a deeper melody that touches the soul through the darkness, in addition the influence of classical music everywhere present in the progressions and composition.  This synergizes with his name:  Tor (Mighty God of Thunder and Lightning, Thor) with Zen (the beauty of meditative contemplation),
You may or may not have heard of Tor-Zen, but not all treasures are in front of all eyes all the time.  This week is time to share the treasure.  This week, it is time to shine the light of appreciation and excitement we have for our brother, Tor-zen.  Please read the wonderful conversation between Desert Raven and Tor-zen.  The light of hope and brotherly love shines brightly.  Tor-zen's melodic house DJ this episode is so incredibly deep and spiritual, balanced with fantastic energy and true emotional power.  An inspired journey from end to end!
Artist Bio:
Tor-Zen was born in Ulm, Germany. His music is shaped by personal values, experience, and passion for art and music across the electronic music scene.
As a child he learned accordion in a music school. In 1996, he found love for Techno and its scene. In 1998, he started learning with mentor J. Dickopp and G. Hatvani, working on his own tracks. During this time, he also found the love for DJing. Since 2005, Tor-Zen has performed as DJ LouD regionally in cafés & bars. But he still put this priority on producing.
 His style is influenced by different genres of electronic music. Out of this, his own creations like " Melektro", " MadElectro" emerged. New tracks with new ideas are planned for the near future.

Artist

Marc de Koning started as a DJ when he was 15 years old. His music style varies from deep and energetic house to underground progressive tech house. With his deep love & appreciation for house music, he began to produce his own music. In 2014 his music career took a turn for the better when Dimitri Kneppers, the pioneer of house music in the Netherlands began to incorporate Marc’s music into his sets.

2014 brought another boost for Marc’s DJ career with Luke Santos, a well-loved & talented DJ from Argentina who now lives in Amsterdam. They had a click and have been producing music together ever since. Their track ‘Numinous’, ranked in Hernan Cattaneo’s Top 20 Chart, and is being played at various festivals & parties, by Hernan Cattaneo, Dimitri, & Olivier Weiter to name a few.

Marc de Koning is also resident DJ at RLGC (Recycle Lounge Gallery Club) in Amsterdam. An he have his own Podcast Heartbeat.

Marc de Koning produced also the lovely track ‘Signature’ at the Label Manual Music, a warm and smooth progressive house mix that’s been said by Progressive Astronaut to have “a touch of James Holden and Luke Chable” in its melodies.

After a Record Store , Party Promotion it was time to produce his own Music .
Eddy Tango create the  „vorLOUD Studios“ and his own Techno based Label Schallmauer Records who was Distrubuted by Discomania  . He released 5 Single EP‘s amongst other things with Michael Burkat and Lars Klein.
Eddy Tango also started a House Music Label called Bikini Records. A German House, Progressive-House & Tech House Label .
The Idea of Bikini Records was founded  when the heads of Bikini, the DJ's and Producers Franky Gee & Eddy Tango forming the Idea to a real Business.

We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
