I'm happy to share my opening set for our first Rituals gathering of 2020 with special guests, Alice Iguchi and Chaim. The energy that this community brings out each and every event always results in a packed and energetic dance floor ready to groove for hours on end. This was the second time I have played with Rituals and I had a lot of excitement preparing to warm up the room. I arrived a bit early as usual to chat with friends and get some music playing a bit early for the event crew. The space was dark with the perfect amount of color and flare spread about to make for an intimate and inviting late night, lounge vibe. A number of good friends were scattered around the venue waiting at their posts for doors. I set out to explore the nooks and crannies of some musical realms that I don't often get chances to play. I had a blast setting the vibe for such a great crowd, and not to mention the stellar sets that followed by my friends, Sravan (@seven_beats), Kelly (@hummingbird_dj), Alice Iguchi (@aliceiguchi) and of course the legendary Chaim (@chaim_avital).  Thanks to the entire team at Rituals for giving me the space to curate this atmosphere for the first few hours. Can't wait to do it again soon!

Cross-cultural sounds and influences are the calling cards of the Erdi Irmak protfolio. Born in the hubbub of cosmopolitan Istanbul where Asia meets Europe across the vast Bosphorous River, Irmak's rise to the higher echelons of the musical elite is as rapid as it is impressive.

Thoroughly immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland from an early age, a combination of "chilled out west and far east sounds" became the fundamental tenets of a musical ideology that has brought success across a wide spectrum of labels and genres. Proficient in deep and downtempo, a further foray into electronica has seen the development of a prolific talent.

Alejandro Russo aka Ale Russo, was born in Buenos Aires Capital Federal -11 September 1984.  His early musical experiences were nurtured by his parents through international bands: Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stone, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, Nirvana, etc., and different national artists as Sumo, Los Redondos, Divididos, Charly Garcia, Goyeneche, Gardel, etc., receiving different sensations of peace and excitement, looking for through the music, and a connection with the inert feeling inside.

By the year 2010 he began to get fully entrenched into the world of electronic music.  As a DJ & Producer he has a very peculiar style, mostly dedicating himself to deep house.  In 2013 he began to venture into the world of productions....full stop.
