Summer has arrived which means that fairy junglists have come out into the wild to spread some dreamy and hazy broken beats for you to enjoy.

When you think of a dedicated jungle/dnb listener, what pops into your head? Probably not a fairy? In the world of dnb things usually get very masculine, camouflage and dark and we don’t want it to be all.

That’s why we are offering you an alternative aesthetic, vibe and way to enjoy your fast broken beats besides the traditional one. Feminine traits are usually seen as something silly, weak and undesirable but we have decided to disagree very strongly with that. 💅

There are so many ways to be, so let’s celebrate that variety. Be yourself and keep it real also when it means being CUTE ASF. Even a fairy can be a badass junglist. 💗✨

My guest in this episode is Ati, who is a member of @barbitalokollektiivi. She’s based in Oulu and is known in the local scene for her love for jungle but you can also hear her spinning some dnb, house, indie and afro sounds. Outside of music, she fancies pink, pastry, pastel colours, candy and butterflies. 🧁🦋🍬

Musique concrète composed with erratic transistors, noddled & wiggled with wires in states of uncertainty. From berlin school to frankfurt school to north-sumatra the voice of apple speech synthesis is drain into the konsonantenzentrifuge and the leftover stammer of words treated by speech cleaning applications and autotune processed speakers join into the play.
