Matej Kunstek known as Matteo Kunst, is a young Slovenian DJ, who started his musical career completely random. He was born in the small city Novo Mesto, where he began to remix music just for fun in one of the local clubs. His selection of music and special energy impressed people, which led him to gain more and more followers and support from people all around. This was a good reason to cross the border of his hometown and he began playing music in various clubs and parties across the country. The most popular Slovenian tourist agency for young people seen his remarkable sense of musical fusion, so they invited him to become one of their DJs. In 2010 he started to mix his favorite electro, progressive and tech house in the hottest clubs, in the most attractive tourist destinations around Europe. Last year he began to accumulate experience as a resident of the world known beach club Papaya, mostly on the boat parties. In the end of the last year, he was given the opportunity to play in Cirkus- the best club in Slovenia. At the moment you can see Matteo mixing his music there and watch the enjoyment of it. But that’s not all; few months ago he started to engage with creative producing of his own music, so people be ready to hear something fresh and crazy soon. And don’t forget: he still has so many things to show, world you better be ready! 

Christal is the co/owner of the prominent Drum & Bass label - Smooth N Groove Records alongside Clen. The label is based out of Northampton, UK and Washington DC, USA. Smooth N Groove Records launched in May 2016 opening with their first release, Jrumhand’s Beaches & Countryside.

Smooth N Groove Records is a Drum & Bass label dedicated to bringing atmospheric, Funky, Soulful, rolling vibez from the best in the scene to the ears of all listeners. Since its conception Smooth N Groove has established a respectable place within the scene with full support from their peers and an ever growing fan base.

Christal has been running a club night since 2018 alongside Soul Deep Recordings head honcho, Scott Allen, Clen and John Crossland, AKA SoulStructure. Appropriately named Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove, representing artists from both labels to perform at their events. They have also taken the Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove brand to the west & east coasts of America hosting events in Los Angeles at Respect, Stamina, San Francisco, and Mosaic, Baltimore.

The next Soul Deep vs Smooth N Groove is planned to take place at Club 43, Northampton, UK, on June 21st 2025
