Shell Shock (she/her) is a multi-genre DJ, party host and music nerd who loves disco, house, and techno. She has played at Revolver Upstairs, Esoteric Festival (theme camp), My Aeon, Rubix Warehouse, Killing Time, the Victorian Pride Centre and live on Kiss FM Australia.

Shell Shock is drawn to groovy, melodic, psychedelic and progressive sounds – she plays soulful euphoric house, cheeky tech-house, dark disco and driving, peak-time techno. Her sets are emotional journeys full of heart, nostalgia, energy and playfulness.

She is also one half of TUNNEL VISION with Caity Watsøn. Together they showcase disco, house, techno and silliness at events in Naarm.

Shell Shock believes in creating safe spaces where everyone feels comfortable to express themselves freely on the dancefloor – no matter their age, gender, race, sexuality, neurodiversity or body size.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.

Shell Shock (she/her) is a DJ, party host and neurodivergent music nerd. 

She plays disco, house, bush techno, driving/peak time techno, hardgroove and hard dance. She has played at venues such as Revolver Upstairs, My Aeon, New Guernica, Aetheria Festival in Darwin and recently headlined events in Japan and New Zealand.

Her sets are emotional journeys full of heart, nostalgia, energy and playfulness.

Shell Shock has been running events in Naarm for the past few years and is currently Brand Manager for techno collective 150 BPM.

As we move further into the digital age, we believe that the future of clubbing is a 50/50 balance of real life and online. With this in mind, we have begun moving Tilt Shift in this direction.

We aim to create a platform that shines a light on Melbourne Locals and international talent. Build an online community while simultaneously putting people in the room as we broadcast.

Tilt Shift has been operating in Melbourne since 2017 facilitating events at a variety of the city's most reputable late-night haunts like Revolver, Boney, Section 8 & New Guernica. In this time we have hosted & toured artists such as: Marvin & Guy, Curses, The Hacker, Tronic Youth & Timothy Clerkin


Tilt Shift endeavour to promote an environment that feels safe and welcoming, somewhere which you don’t have to wrestle with the struggles of the day. No racism, sexism, homophobia or any discriminatory attitudes will be tolerated. We also care that the music is good and genres are blurred. Put away your phone and dance with us.
