We welcome back Sean & Dee to the label with their new single 'Sea Turtle' featuring remixes from Andy King and Mila Journée. 

The plucky Italian duo had a great 2019 with tracks signed to Outta Limits and Natura Viva among others and struck gold with a Beatport top 10 for FSOE UV. Their single-minded dedication to progressive music is also winning them many high-profile fans, and we very much expect their sonic journey to take a massive upswing this year. 

'Sea Turtle' is essential dancefloor weaponry. Upbeat and musical, the thundering kicks ushering in a mammoth tune. With bass fully engaged, the sonics begin; twisted sweeps, an epic pad and rhythm line, and later, acid, all working together to create a warm and inviting playground in your mind. Andy King opts for a deeper rendition, cooling down the originals epic overtones and focusing on the emotional content for those earlier warm up moments. While MIla Journée strips the original right back and recreates a chugging tribal prog remix that grows into an epic masterpiece.

Now, ready to take on the next chapter, Philip and Miguel begin 2020 with a complete re-branding and launch of their label, Eternal Order.

Sure, the climate out there is blanketed with underground labels, and yes, it is a bit of a daft idea to go about releasing music on their own versus signing records with established labels—but as the late Terence McKenna once stated “This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”

The duo looks to write a musical story throughout the year. With five releases of original music on the books for Eternal Order in 2020, you can expect something different with each release while still maintaining a common thread that is uniquely their own. Planning and writing music this way has given them a deeper sense of purpose while working in the studio—providing the ability to think and create for the long-term rather than simply cranking out tracks in a vacuum.

We get our first taste of Speaking In Tongues in 2020 with a double-sided single, boasting two massive dance floor tunes. Leading off with ‘Oscura’, a track that has a sense of familiarity to it but is richly detailed both in harmonic melodies and groove—it’s a tried and true club track but with a sense of emotion and meaning. On the flip we find ‘Voodoo Moon’, which charges along with huge percussion and a steady bass-line while a tripped-out and detuned horn melody takes the audience through an unexpected journey.

So, jump on in as the boys grab hold of the wheel and head down the rabbit hole!

Music with instinct, created from the deepest part of the guts and directed to our primitive subconscious minds is what Musica Cavernicola has to offer. The brand, founded by the duo from Madrid SOSANDLOW, announces its new release “Over My Dead Body” by Pontias.

The EP is formed by 5 tracks, three originals and two remixes by EdOne and I AM JAS. The opening track is EdOne’s remix, which was born to be a hit. The Spanish producer, an owner of superior creative capacity, delivers an intelligent remix with a strong and direct groove whose protagonist is a synth that is simply mind-blowing. Tina Ferinetti’s voice helps the punch to coincide with the climax. The EP continues with the original track “Over My Dead Body” to which the French artist has given intensity and a deep character. Through its development, the synths keep a harmonious dialogue with each other in which Tina’s beautiful voice acts as an intermediary. “Disorder” is the next track. Pontias chooses to use a polyphony as the basis to which he adds a sharp groove, a dragging bass and a synthesizer. The result is a harmonious progression through unusual melodies. I AM JAS’ risky remix takes over, the producer, who kept his profound and organic style tries out the before mentioned polyphony breaking its percussive arpeggio followed by a progression of pads. And lastly, we have the original “A Bit Of You” owner of a decisive pumping bassline that invites us to dance then be blown away by a sweet arpeggio.

'Second release, secondo lap, for the brand-new label Saturn Return. The coproduction between Robbie Akbal and Rowee fills the dance floors with dramatic melodies.

The lead synth seems to be perpetually shape-shifting, the overall mood is tense, powered by loops thick with bass and intensely hypnotic that you could listen to for hours.

After 3 minutes of straight clubbing, a ray of light enters with the voice of KnowKontrol, breaking the rules with soaring vocals like only he can.
It’s a fusion between the melancholy and the hopeful. Its deep reassuring embrace is hard to resist.

The 3D DJs return with a spring in their step and the bit between their teeth all ready to complete their trilogy of EPs for Selador and arguably, they may have saved the best ‘til last. 

With Darren, Dave & Danny now firmly ensconced in the studio together working on a collaborative album project, this EP signals the final piece in the trio’s original concept of releases where each contributes an individual track. 

Danny opens proceedings this time with ‘Shortwave’, an ever present in his sets over the last year that finally gets to see the light of day. Listeners with a keen ear may recognise this as the track the 3Ders opened their Mixmag Lab session with in LA last year. A delicious slice of uplifting Howells house. 

Darren is next up with ‘Sleeping Bag’, a paean to the legendary NYC imprint that combines a sublime house groove and a seductive arpeggio with spellbinding results.  Proper classy business straight outta Billericay. 

And last but by no means least, Dave weighs in ‘Press 1 For Human’, a veritable banger loaded with off kilter synth sirens and a bass line so muscular that we demand a dope test. Innocent until proven guilty though and be warned, we have very expensive lawyers!  

All for one and one for all, three is the magic number.
