My second track for the milestone 100th Beat Battle with my friends - some survivors from Metapop and others new. It has been a real privilege and joy to have a space where we can experiment and share ideas.

This track explores the idea of using "Ostinato" (repeating patterns). This track uses two midi files provided (hence the key change). To make it harder of course I re-jigged everything to work in 5/4 time. But I do think it works! Let me know what you think.

"I recently came across a new style/genre cinematic/ambient house, in which the story line of a film is engraved in the flow. The instrumentation, mood, atmo, melody, bpm, and whole production is working together to incarnate the imagery of the scene. Like subtle differences in fx gives big change in master output. Tracks don't necessarily have to be in house genre, and themes can vary, from a blockbuster cyberpunk scene to a short walkout with dog through neighborhood. You can make your own story and real life scene is OK to make it feel like a film music. In short, it's the music of image, feeling, and story. Have fun and create your own film music.

Rules: his time the theme is UK 60s Psychedelic Conquering.
Or with other words: The famous british invasion.
Create a track in the 60s-Style using typical bass, guitar and keysounds,
adding modern hard-bass-shots and fx-hits and combine rockdrums and funkbreaks.
What I did: took my track "Smashing Butterflies" and made it sound more "UK psychedelic style" by adding Indian Sitar, Indian drums, Fuzz and Wah Wah, and an endless guitar solo.
