Robin Hexstatic in Hour 2 this week with a bass heavy selection and celebrating the release of 2 tracks from his new RobHex project. Starting with some lovely remixes from the likes of Psychemagik and Cause and Effect,..there’s also the pounding Robert Babicz remix of Hardfloor’s classic acid anthem. The first of two RobHex tracks and into a fresh new track from the ever brilliant DJ Zinc. Phuture and Bart B More bring the heavy acid and into a bouncing remix of Au Seve from The Stantons and classic cut up vocals from Taches. A bassline remix of DJ Kentaro leads to the classically relentless La Mouche from Cassius,..and on into another new RobHex track. We finish with a double header of reggae infused breakbeat heavies from 601 ft Ragga Twins and Congo Natty.

„Deep in my heart“ is the first single from The Green Man (TGM)’s „25 Years Basswerk Sessions“ album. „Deep in my heart“ is a modern electronic pop drum & bass track by Jaycut & TGM and the warm voice of Vavu, a german singer from the Rhineland with tamil roots, with whom TGM has already cooperated on „Say Goodbye“ for. Beatalistics. Together with her partner Christopher Gros they form the „Vavunettha“ duo project.

Jaycut and TGM met and cooperated when Basswerk sessions went to Gebäude 9 in 1999 and he founded drumandbass.de, on which they had their first netradio sessions form Basswerk’s underground studio. Later on, Jaycut went on his own paths. Together with Kolt Siewerts he founded „Play“ events series and label in Cologne, plus they also had a hit with the unconventional „Flute tune“. They also teamed for their ongoing and regular drumandbass.de Podcast. Focussing on his own electronic sound, here in „Deep in my heart“ Jaycut unites with TGM again - and with a fresh new voice.

On his„25 Years Basswerk Sessions“ album TGM is showcasing a broad variety of music centered around D&B and Jungle including some surprises and cooperates with the following artists ...

In hour 2 it's the return of Pepe Deluxe with a mix celebrating the release of his highly anticipated 'Queen of the wave' album, out on the 30th January. It's a concept album,with the usual Pepe elements of late 60's vinyl influenced sound, plus weird instruments and equipment, including The Great Stalacpipe Organ (the largest instrument in the world). We move into Hour 2 and for our 25th Anniversary we encouraged guests to deliver something different. This week Luke Vibert (who has appeared many times on the show) does exactly that with a high octane opening section showcasing the edit kings from the late eighties. Often found on the b-side of club records, editors such as Omar Santana, Carlos Berrios,  Chep Nunez and the Latin Rascals transformed tracks with quick fire cuts for artists like Rochelle, Corina, Bad Boy Orchestra, Stone and Sweet Sensation who are all featured and we get a Luke Vibert treatment on top. Brand New Funk and Ethel Beatty offer a respite from all this, as well as a sublime gospel track from Pastor TL Barrett, before closing with Omar Souleyman, Tipper and Tomita.

Timafei Dolinyak aka Tima Fei, is a Chicago-trained, Atlanta-taught and Ukrainian-born artist, music producer, DJ with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. As a marketing strategist, creative director and co-creator of NORdjs and ICEA Tima had a chance to work and to be featured at some of the leading cultural settings such as; Spybar, MidCity, Crobar, Sound-Bar, District, Ultra Festival, Kazantip, Northcoast Music Festivals, Michigan Ave and VoyageATL magazines. Nowadays Tima resides in Tampa Bay where he motivated to educate, DJ, produce, photograph and to expand his client community.
