Life And Death founder DJ Tennis is back on his home ground for the first time in 8 years, bringing Melbourne's finest new gen producer Luke Alessi to the party. For their first studio collaboration, they deliver an ecstatic floor-driven bomb with winks at early 90s house, all within a contemporary sound palette. 

With its pumping groove, rapturous stabs, and hallucinatory acid notes, the record is poignantly tied together via heavy tribal drums and euphoric vocal samples. “Dale Dale” is a late-night to early-morning anthem that should keep the neighbors awake all summer. 

Already part of the Life and Death family since his 2023 breakthrough release “Bey Beh,” Luke Alessi’s music sits in its own lane, refusing to be pigeonholed into any conventional genre. A frequent collaborator of Chloe Caillet, Carlita, Rüfus Du Sol, and many more established talents, 2024 has been a huge year for Alessi, with noticeable DJ debuts from Mexico to Asia via Europe and North America.

Even with a nonstop touring schedule this summer - with appearances at Glastonbury, Circoloco, Kappa Futur Festival, Sonar, and his own Life and Death parties in Berlin and Los Angeles - DJ Tennis has continued to prioritize his time in the studio.
