BB (Beats, Bars) Production Records was first started in 2009 by Eric Amaya (Chief Executive Officer) and Moris Orellana (Chief Operating Officer) both from Northridge, CA; born and raised in the valley they grew up listening to such influential musical producers such as Ryan Leslie, Willie Mitchell, Dr. Dre, DJ Quick, and now present day producers such as Calvin Harris among many more.  Growing up appreciating music and the happiness that it transpired through a combination of sounds, Eric decided to pursue what was dear to him and follow his passion to produce music. Creating beats made it possible to freely allow his creativity to flow without any barriers and/or restrictions. By putting his emotions and feelings into the sounds that pieced together his beats he created an end result that was close and personal to him. BBP Records became official in 2015 and since then they have maintained open doors for artists of all ages, backgrounds, musical stylings, etc. to work together and create the same art he grew up living and loving. Being surrounded by music since a young age, Moris grew fond of music and the way it changed his perspective about life and the drive it gave him to continue to push through the boundaries in the path to success. Recently, Moris has expanded his creative mindset and has dived deeper into the sounds and rhythms that provide the platform his life is built on; one that highlights: his drive, passion and skills as an artist and producer. 
One of the biggest reasons why Eric and Moris chose to begin their own music label was to allow the creativity to flow freely for each artist. So that no one would feel like they had to abide by any rules or fit into any trends or musical style. Freedom of expression is encouraged at BBP Records. No artist should feel as if they have to conform to what is not true to them. Being able to make new connections and learn methods to making music that will bring people together is an essential goal of BBP Records. Both Eric and Moris have become comfortable taking something that is out of their comfort zone and submerging themselves into it so that they can fully understand the meaning of it, where it comes from and why it was made; as they have found it the best way to learn something new about themselves as an individuals, partners and their capabilities all the meanwhile expanding their knowledgebase. This is how B.B. Production Records is able to work with artists of different musical styling. 
Making music should not be forced nor should it follow a pattern, it should be felt, experienced and lived. Learning to make a new beat or music in general is a journey about getting to know yourself, your intuitions and your passion.  This is the foundation of BB Production Records as they believe in creative freedom, and understand that the music they deliver is a very clear representation of who you are as a person. 
BB Production Records welcomes with open arms artists of all backgrounds and stylings without any judgement into an endless world of music that is waiting to be explored. The end result should be something that is a clear representation of the artist(s) and one should feel fully self-righteous after successfully completing such a journey. After all it is a journey through one’s life, feelings and mindset or ideas.
