Max TenRom was born in Toulouse, the famous Pink City from Southern France. He started playing music from an early age, learning his piano skills through Jazz. Once he had become comfortable on the piano he switched his focus to synthesizers and acoustic drums. As a result, he naturally started exploring electronic music production.
He uses his many influences to create his own craft. Max navigates between an Organic & Exotic Downtempo style and some Deep & Melodic Techno sonorities. The most important thing is to transmit emotions anyway.
Regularly in the top Beatport, his music is released on various renowned labels, well received in the musical industry and supported by talented artists. On stage he uses all his energy to add live Bongos, Piano and Darbouka fills to make his live-set a complete audiovisual and organic performance.

His name, a subtle reversal of "summit," hints at a collective climb, a voyage into the heart of vibration. As the owner and director of the Australian label Smash Bang Records, Timmus is a prolific artist with a diverse range of sonic explorations. He crafts and performs under various aliases, each a unique facet of his artistic vision: Sacred Summit, Micro Jaxon, Swingtime Paradigm, and Psymus Drummit. He also lends his rhythmic prowess as the hybrid drummer for The Oddness & Band.

These projects, along with his solo work, showcase his ability to seamlessly blend genres and push the boundaries of sonic exploration.
He is a weaver of sound, a collector of auditory fragments, a builder of sonic sanctuaries. From the tender age of four, nestled in the quiet of rural Victoria, he crafted instruments and captured sonic impressions on cassette. By twelve, he was sculpting sonic landscapes with digital tools, foreshadowing his future as a master of auditory alchemy.
