Sinéad is an Irish singer songwriter living in Essex since 2005. She studied Music at Maynooth University, Ireland and now teaches Music in a secondary school in North East Essex.  Her first album, Chapters, was released in 2009. It is an intimate collection of original songs, each song representing a chapter in her life. The album is a variety of styles from Irish folk to jazz. She loves the craft of songwriting and her influences include Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Kings of Convenience, Damien Dempsey and Polly Paulusma. She is currently writing songs for a second album and hopes to record it soon. She has played in venues in and around Colchester including the folk night at the Colchester Arts Centre.

A collection of my attempts at being a musician over the years ...Guitar, Vocals, Wiriter, Arranger, Recording & Production Engineering, Sequencing, Keyboards, Drums, Remixing, etc ...If you're wise; you'll listen to the good stuff (in the "Spotlight" Set List) and move along :)

I just make music because I can and FUCK YOU thats why.

Ambigram started "for the love of music" with Tim [guitar & lead vocals], Chris [percussion, backing vocals & guitar], Rob [bass], and (after some hunting) Julie [lead vocals & percussion] ...After playing around with a few stock covers, they decided to do "Acoustic Mashmixes". When Chris moved away Julie stepped up to the mark to help out with the percussion. As most arrangements were built around bass lines, when Rob moved on, the project went on long-term haitus.

On the bright side: Every time we got a new arrangement finalised, Rob would put his iPhone on the living room floor and hit record (so we had something to which we could rehearse). Maybe one day Rob will be replaced and the project will resurrected; but in lieu of that day, these are the only recordings which exist.  

Please appreciate these tracks were created from iPhone "masters" uploaded to Youtube as Mono 128k CBR MP3 and downloaded to my local PC. I've done my best to clean up the EQ, and add some sense of 'stereo', but don't hold your breath for "quality production" or "well rehearsed masterpieces" just (hopefully) a memory of some good times doing something that has (seemingly) never been done before**

Spinney Lainey is Lainey Round from England, progressive psytrance producer and classically-trained flute player and performs her own music with live flute. Her passion for music began at the age of eight, when she began to learn the flute. She came into the world of psytrance production on a mission to express her own efforts to heal from many years of severe chronic illness, transcend suffering and heal spiritually. It is her passion to share her story with others and in doing so, intends through her music, to bring others the hope, light, love, healing and peace that she found, as well as making them dance and be free!

Having graduated with a Classical Music Degree back in 2001, she began composing, improvising, recording and performing music in a wide range of musical styles both with musicians in this country and abroad, forming various musical projects, bands and collaborations and working as a session musician.

During this time, Lainey developed her passion for psytrance and was first discovered after posting a video on Youtube of her busking on her flute to 'Basic' by Zyce at Piccadilly Circus (this can be found on her Youtube channel - link below). The video caused a sensation and went viral. After seeing this video, Zyce asked her to record a flute part for 'Basic' and a remix was made, which can be heard on her soundcloud page. She went on to work with Zyce on 5 tracks in total, including the EP, 'Fluting', which was number 1 on Beatport.

All of Spinney Lainey’s solo releases have performed extremely well and have all reached well into the top 10 in the Beatport charts with New Beginnings reaching no.1.
