A classic TIP compilation series that I started back in 1996.  The original idea was to collect some of the best tracks off vinyl singles and put them onto an album.  They became very popular for the people who weren't dedicated vinyl junkies to get hold of some of the killer tracks from the underground party scene back then on CD.  NOW the concept is to put together some of the best tracks over the last 2 years that appeared as digital singles/ep's. To give people who missed out the option to  buy some of the key moments all together at a great price.  

If you have a few its still worth it probably to have the collection like this. so get yourself tipnotised and Get Hip to Tip!

FEATURING REMIXES BY MANMADEMAN AND GNOMES OF KUSH

Sideform are Drasko and Milos and are from Belgrade.  The first release on Tip from Serbia and its a goodie.  The Serbian Psy Trance scene exploded in the early noughties and all artists came back talking of the incredible energy and passion at the parties.  So we are very happy to have our first act from one of the great new(ish) Psy countries.  Both have studio engineering backgrounds and are audio freaks.  This is a quality production that represents their take on things.  Great depth and atmospherics with a a laid back arrangement that leads to a powerful conclusion.  A band to watch if you weren´t already!  

Then we have a fabulous remix by Gnomes of Kush who bring a  very alternate take on it.  A  more direct, minimal, techy feel with a great punch and a monster kick.  Groovy and very infectious.

To finish off the package there is a ManMadeMan Remix of another Sideform track called "Destruction" originally released on Prog On Syndicate Records.  It does what ManMadeMan do in their typicaly UK fashion and draw the funk out into Psy Trance...adding a very danceable slab of juiciness to this EP.

This is another debut on Tip.  Brightlight has been sending in music for the past year and his level has been rising and rising.  Always an interesting take on things with his unique uses of vocal samples and choice of sounds and his arrangements.   Entertaining psychedelic music.  With these tracks we felt he was ready for a prime release on Tip.  Its accompanied by a collaboration track with Tip regulars ManMadeMan which is a corker!  This track has ben doing the rounds at parties in the hands of a few hand selected DJ's and the responses have been phenomenal.  Very psychedelic, funky and hard hitting.  Already a hit.  We think people are going to "Make Up Their Mind" quite quickly that they need to "Focus" on this EP.

BrightLight - The Focus EP

DuoTekk are back with a taster of what's to come.  Jonas (Logic Bomb and Tranan) and Mathias (Ibojima and Soul Seekers) craft 2 tracks here with true Swedish finesse.  

More to come soon from these 2 both as DuoTekk and solo projects so show your support and we will get them to you quicker!  Very talented and capable of delivering unique golden sound nuggets that make you feel so good.  

2015 is going to have some more Swedish flavour we feel....and we will all be the better for it..

Astral Projection - Let There Be Light (Outsiders Remix)

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.

As ambassadors of the label, Raja Ram and DJ Lucas O'Brien (SuperModule) presented their label showcase touring the globe for over 20 years bringing the TIP sound to a wider audience.
The back catalogue reads like a who's who of the Psychedelic Trance scene and TIP helped many top artists to launch their careers.

Today, with a roster of sought after, quality and dynamic artists, TIP continues to bring music and joy to dance floors around the world!
