The last 18 months have brought Bowen commissioned works with Virgin Mobile Australia, two brand new EP’s, multiple national Australian tours with internationally renowned recording artists; The Milk Carton Kids & Clare Bowen, multiple cameo performances at the  world renowned Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, TN. and a song he co-wrote, ‘From Here On Out’, being chosen for the U.S. TV show, ‘Nashville’ and their subsequent series 4 soundtrack. Just before Christmas of 2015, however, he was unexpectedly diagnosed with end stage Lymphoma and was given just two weeks to live. Having endured an intense chemotherapy regime, he returned triumphantly to the stage in May of 2016, while still completing his last round of treatment, to open for and play alongside his sister, Clare Bowen, of the hit U.S. TV series, ’Nashville’, for her inaugural and sold out Australian tour. In May of this year, Bowen released his brand new EP, ‘Bloom’ and is currently touring the record with his sister, Clare, once again, along the east coast of Australia. Timothy will continue touring his new record after this run of shows with Clare, revisiting many of the cities they have both played over the last few weeks. With much more music planned for release in the coming months and a new lease on life, Timothy has proven himself as one to watch in 2017.
