Trying to Say Goodbye

This song is very important to me because of a decently recent relationship I had. the first part of the song gets me in my feels every time because it is almost exactly how I felt with that relationship. Obviously I can't relate to the second half because I'm not 23, but you get it. Enjoy the cover:)

I recorded this song originally in 2019 and it went through multiple revisions until it got to this which I feel is the best out of all. I've been waiting to release this for years but never got it sound like I wanted and didn't have a good place to put it, so now have this song I wrote 3 years ago :)

Problems

I really wanted to go for a screamo vibe with this why to an extent, so I came up with this simple two chord pattern and had the song in 3/4 time. I feel it worked out greatly. Once again though another song about my ex lmao (infinite writing material glitch? 100% real)
