I was just listening to the CORE theme earlier today, and I wondered when more stuff would be made for this AU. And now, here something is.

Well, flowey did say "Everyone" after saying "Humans" and "Monsters"...

Eldritch monstrosities? Are we talking Lovecraftian stuff? The only character I know of in this AU doesn't seem to fit that bill, but it would be pretty boring if everyone were spooky space squids anyway. Either way, "eldritch" is a word that can get me interested in just about anything. On top of that, there is even Unova-style music, which nets you even more points from me.

I really like this premise. Usually post-pacifist AUs focus on what happened to the characters after the ending, so it's nice to see one that focuses on what happened to the Underground itself instead.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore II, the Betrayed Undyne ending, details an ending in which Frisk ruins their streak of pacifism right before the end, slaying the celebrity robot Mettaton on live television. Toriel has taken her ex-husband Asgore's place after his death, and she struggles to maintain morale in an increasingly wary underground. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends. At least...in theory.

Yep, you read that right. I know, it's a bit confusing, let me explain.
Yes, Annoying Dog is Asgore in Aftergore VII. Flowey/Asriel takes his own role. Flowey manages to kill the dog and ascend to his Photoshop form...but what kind of idiot thinks you can just kill the Annoying Dog? Nex may not have six human SOULs to save them, but clearly they do have...someone else.

[Aftergore VII] Bow Before Your DOG

*Oh god, the human's here already...

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore IV, the Queen Undyne ending, details an ending in which Toriel and the Ruins monsters are killed, but everyone else is left unharmed (other than Asgore of course). Undyne rules the Underground with an iron fist. Humans are to be treated as enemies, not friends.

Alphys and Sans share the role of the Royal Scientist. Undyne, keeping the whole underground working at maximum efficiency, needs DOUBLE THE SCIENCE. ...also, Sans wants to make sure he can keep an eye socket on his bro at his new job, so this works out for everyone...except maybe Alphys.

[Aftergore IV] The Doofus and the Dork

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth. HUMANS and MONSTERS.
After war broke out between them, the humans banished the monsters underground with a magic spell.
However, a human child, brave and determined, befriended monsterkind and destroyed mankind's Barrier.
And the Underground went empty.

Well...not quite.

Much LONGER ago, THREE races ruled over Earth. HUMANS, MONSTERS, and the PROTOTHERS.
While they once lived in harmony, the Protothers were deemed by both ancient humans and monsters to be too dangerous for the world above.
And so, they were entombed deep within the Earth, so deep that ancient man believed they could never escape.

Ancient man could not account for a volatile power plant being built within the mountain by monsters.
A power plant that, when left unattended, could easily overheat and detonate.
Such an explosion, were it to happen, would be so strong that it would shake the earth to its core.
This would awaken the mighty Protothers from their thousand-year slumber, and reignite their thirst for revenge.
But why would the monsters ever leave such a powerful tool unattended?
Unless...the underground went empty...

Fable of the Forsaken is an AU that takes place in the aftermath of a True Pacifist Run. Mt. Ebott, ravaged by the explosion of the CORE, is inhabited by a whole new slew of eldritch monstrosities. Follow the unassuming human Nex on their quest to stop the Protothers from exacting their revenge...one way or another.

Aftergore Bergen 4/5 of the Royal March event!

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VIII, the Leaderless ending, details an ending in which Frisk killed everyone they encountered. They didn't go out of their way to kill everyone, so it was not a full on genocide, but a massacre for sure. Political and civil unrest has torn the Underground asunder, Humans-- and anyone who isn't adamantly opposed to them-- are to be treated as bitter enemies.

Theodore, known to some as "Politics Bear," takes the role of Asgore. He took advantage of the Underground's unrest and started preaching to them about the human menace, turning the populist masses against humanity as the end-all-be-all enemy. Many monsters see him as the kind of strong leader the Underground has always needed, but the man behind the mantras may not be as brave and powerful as everyone thinks he is.

[Aftergore VIII] Ursa Major

*Rest at last, human.
*For here, even despite everything... 
*All can be at peace.

Deepertale is an AU that takes place in the aftermath of a nearly complete Genocide Run. Alphys has hidden all the survivors in the True Lab. Flowey was the only one who got in the human's way and lived to tell the tale (and that was by escaping within an inch of his life). The human has chosen not to erase the timeline yet, and walks the dusty Underground while down further below the monsters cower in fear. Flowey takes the role of Mettaton, and his "Hotland" is a massive machine that delves into his subconscious. Here, the "resort," is a peaceful garden. The eye of the storm. The one place of calm inside of Flowey's mad mind.

He's turned the Underground into an aesthetic corporate dystopian paradise. Humans are to be invited to join his Fan Club. And if they reject it, they die.

Catty takes the role of Papyrus. It’s been a few years, but she’s still a die-hard MTT stan. She and Bratty are the heads of the King Mettaton Fan Club, but since they’re older than most of the other members, people treat them differently. Catty gets made fun of a lot. Teens say she’s out of fashion or uncool. But she does her best to ignore it, focus on living her best life, and do what really matters: devoting an unhealthy amount of time and energy to Mettaton. Like every model citizen should do!
