Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell, and "Mark of Fate" is its Deltarune equivalent. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the status of both the Light and Dark World, leading to a very different kingdom from the one we know.

Ralsei takes the role of the King. One day he had a divine vision, and became convinced that he had to protect the Dark World from its prophesied destruction at all costs. That means he has to leave his sweet exterior at the door so that he can deliver on his sworn duty...but it's not a facade he's great at keeping up.

Thumbnail is obviously temporary, and will be updated when Mark of Fate gets a logo of its own.

ALTERSAGA is a roleswap AU heavily inspired by "Altertale" pair-swaps aspect: Toriel, Asgore, & Asriel swapping with Sans, Papyrus, & Gaster. However, in ALTERSAGA, there is more than just the abovementioned pair-swap. We will talk about this later but for now...

Wingding Gaster fills the role of Asriel. Instead of turning into a flower or any other object, he falls into his own creation and gets corrupted due to an unspeakable incident. Thus, an anomaly is born in a form of [REDACTED] (who takes Flowey's position). The anomaly spends it time observing the reality which it cannot interfere unless something pulls the anomaly back to where it originally belongs. Ultimately, the anomaly returns to its reality and it's all thanks to your SOUL. The soul serves as a bridge between dimensions, which unfortunately calls for threats that want to steal your soul for their own advantages. Inevitably, W.D. Gaster learns about the existence of OUR reality beyond his own and now he yearns for an absolute freedom; to escape from the "game" and usher everyone else into our world. However, your soul is foremostly required to fulfill the wish they have never thought before.

The So Sorry role is taken by an original character named Shamana, a mysterious rodent who has vowed to protect the hidden people of the Jungle.

Is this too epic a theme for someone who is 95% divorced from the plot? Yeah, probably. Oh well.

Most of you probably won't even get this reference unless you've been around for a very very long time. But this is a tribute to a creator who unwittingly was a huge inspiration for Refractale, one who I wish I could thank myself. Thank you, wherever you are.

Also no, we're not skipping the Report songs and Spider Dance, the So Sorry fight just happens earlier in this AU.
