The album starts off with Sampadan 30 where Kone Kone works his magic to bring out de- licious crossover disco beats that characterise the charming 80s flowing into the alluring 90s of the Indian cinescape, with the old school glam of electric guitars and synths. This thumping track is followed by Sampadan 31 which is reminiscent of Chicago house but with Todh Teri’s classic Indian touch. Next up is Sampadan 32, with a simple yet funky bassline and juicy vocals that make you travel back in time to a golden era, making it quite an enticing vibe. Get Physical Music family members Karol XVII & MB Valence unveil their stunning new album, ‘Essay’, in February 2022. Following well-received teaser singles, the full album is a storytelling trip through many shades of heartfelt house.

Polish pair Karol XVII & MB Valence have been a key part of the global dance scene for more than a decade. In that time, they have established their own Loco Records, been nominated as Best Deep House Artists at the Beatport Music Awards and have continued to push the genre forwards. Drawing on their backgrounds as composers and sound engineers, the duo has put out plenty of singles on Get Physical and contributed to 2020's 'Retrospective,' but ‘Essay’ is their boldest artistic statement to date.

The lovely atmosphere of 'Old Memories' opens the album with dreamy ambience and soothing breakbeats before 'Aqua' sinks you into a vast and pillowy deep house groove. It's a gorgeous track detailed with delicate synths. The lead single 'Whispers' is another stylish and seductive track featuring Johannesburg native and vocalist Lazarusman, before Jono McCleery features on 'Fool's Gold,' a richly melodic and harmonic lullaby with vulnerable vocals.

Real late night tension defines 'Echoes & The Beauty' (Jackspeare Interpretation) with its frazzled synths and mysterious rolling beats, while 'Disharmony' is characterised by uneasy, unsettling synth motifs that loop over more cavernous deep house drums. The fascinating album continues through the absorbing dub house and delicate pads of 'Waterfall Drops.' Another Jackspeare Interpretation, this time of 'Sonus,' makes for perfectly meditative and melancholic listening, and 'Bang Bang' then layers soft shakers over big rubbery kicks while a sensuous vocal hangs in the air. The stunning 'Jackspeare Theme' is nearly four minutes of suspensory cosmic ambiance and the album then plays out with the organic broken beats of 'Digisong,' electro-tinged future soul of 'Universum' (Jackspeare Original Interpretation), and pensive synth craft of sublime closer 'Humanity.'

‘Essay’ is the sumptuous sound of two producers at their very best.

Todh Teri is back to make us groove with the tenth and final volume of the Deep In India series. A total double whammy of a record – this one happens to be a limited edition double vinyl that includes the best of the Todh Teri’s tracks from the previous volumes. As this alluring series comes to an end, get ready to shake a leg to some dark & dubby tunes one last time.
It all begins with Sampadan 34, a tune that makes you want to close your eyes and get lost in a musical trance with its intricate elements of this melody. This is followed by Sam- padan 35, an iconic tune that takes you down memory lane, bringing back sweet memo- ries of the yesteryears.
Using a historic sample from the 90s Indian cinescape, Todh Teri has added his touch to create Sampadan 36 - a track that you’re sure to get hooked onto. For the grand finale, we have Sampadan 37, which brings in some old-school percussive beats into play that will make your soul come alive.

For listeners who missed out, this final EP of the series also includes a second vinyl which has the best-selected tracks from Vol.1 - Vol.4. Deep In India has been Todh Teri’s heart- felt tribute to the golden age of Indian cinema that has given listeners a fresh perspective on its conventional music. Press Info: "We continue to expand our international family to India, as we welcome Vridian and his Fragments EP. It includes a collaboration with compatriot Siddhant Jain and remixes by label-returning artists Kotu and LADS.

Main title track "Fragments" is a club-oriented production, that combines vivid synth leads with an impactful off-beat, that creates a hypnotic groove, that is supported by smartly processed percussions, that only fill the necessary space needed to push the track forward, while reserving an open space for the production to breath and unfold.

"Virtuous Pursuit" complements the release as an organic and subtle piece, that builds an atmosphere through vocal chants with sustaining reverbs and subtle synth pads, accompanied by harmonic bells. 

Kotu further explores the dreamscapes from the original, while adding an energetic drum loop, further underlined by a pulsating bassline, creating a unique spin.
