Ahead of Transmissions from Hackney, taking place across ten venues in Hackney Wick on October 7, we headed down to the Netil studio for a day celebrating the sounds of this year's event.

With mixes from Adam Pits, DJ Teeth, DJ Wiggles, Faery, In2Stellar, Inner Zone, Jin Synth, Kit Seymour, Miro SundayMusiq, and Remove Me, the sets travelled from textural, ambient soundscapes, through to high energy trance and techno - a taste of what's to come at next month's festival.

Vitamine FM is back on @noodsradio with our dear friend and great selector @djbienveillance. We met Max at the end of 2022 and we instantly became really good friends, already so many memories together between Berlin, Strasbourg & Cluj and more to come ! Max is a real vinyl addict and the kind of inexhaustible DJ, never tired of playing and partying always with Bienveillance ofc ! he delivered a top notch mix, vinyl only, tribal prog oriented, bon voyage :)

Joining us for Tapes #111 is London-based DJ and producer and found of the Slump Recordings, Baby Rollén. His ever expanding sound encompasses influences from jungle and breaks through to progressive house and tech house as well. 

With releases on Futureboogie, Gestalt,  Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance, Semi Delicious and most recently a Mixmag pick of the year release ‘Automated Reply’ on Not For You – has seen support for his records surge with supporters including the likes of – Eris Drew, Jennifer Loveless, Paramida, tINI, Enzo Siragusa and more.
 
Catch him DJing at parties across Europe before the end of the year, with shows in Berlin (Sisyphos – Oct 15th), Liverpool (Glass, Yellow Submarine – 28th Oct) and London (TBA – Dec 1st).

3 hours of Grateful Dead live recordings, compiled by Hugo Rose in March 2024.

This collection consists entirely of live recordings, gleaned from many hundreds of hours spent listening to live concert recordings of the band. A good deal of the songs are 2-track recordings taken from the Dick’s Picks series of releases, although some more hi-fi multi-track recordings, like the hallowed Europe ‘72 version of Morning Dew, are included. There’s also some other Dead-related miscellanea scattered around, including archival promotional material and podcast snippets. Full tracklist below:
