Mickaël Michaelides, known as Klankers, born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa but now residing in The Netherlands is noted for drawing influences from the progressive elements of the 90s era, which remains a defining feature in his sounds, evoking euphoric moments to all listeners.

Joining us for Tapes #111 is London-based DJ and producer and found of the Slump Recordings, Baby Rollén. His ever expanding sound encompasses influences from jungle and breaks through to progressive house and tech house as well. 

With releases on Futureboogie, Gestalt,  Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance, Semi Delicious and most recently a Mixmag pick of the year release ‘Automated Reply’ on Not For You – has seen support for his records surge with supporters including the likes of – Eris Drew, Jennifer Loveless, Paramida, tINI, Enzo Siragusa and more.
 
Catch him DJing at parties across Europe before the end of the year, with shows in Berlin (Sisyphos – Oct 15th), Liverpool (Glass, Yellow Submarine – 28th Oct) and London (TBA – Dec 1st).
