This album is a global effort to connect the different tribes and scenes around the world to come to a more openminded and sustainable human society.

The music was contributed by members of the Tribal Bass FB group;

and compiled and mastered by Hentopan aka dustrickx, a tribal bass promotor from Belgium.

For easter 2021 ( on 4/4 this year) we release this new compilation with the best in tribal bass music as a dedication to the group and the entire scene and a way to cross international boundaries and bring together the world in a year of reconnection.

Tribal Bass is a mixture of genres ranging from styles using idm-ish breakbeats and fusion trip-hop over ethnic instrumentals, global trap to psy-dub, experimental bass and glitch-hop. It is known as a danceable downtempo style for psy-heads and nu-school hippies and is usually plaid at chill out or second stage areas in European psychedelic festivals, but it also hits the main stages in US, AU, NZ and Can. Sudakra - Incarnation

This is the *true* Nectar stage set. I decided to share both sets like I did with my Lucidity sets because they are different in flavor and I couldn't choose! :-)

The spontaneous sets are sometimes some of the most magical - I loved this one at the Nectar Village. As I started playing people emerged out of the woods literally to flow with me through this delicious set dripping with feminine nectar yum. 

I am currently birthing a new album and performance vision called "Feminine Medicine" so here you are hearing some of my inspiration for that. To me the Goddess appears in many guises - she is fierce and flowing, gentle and a force to be reckoned with. This set reflects the more sensual, flowing side of her. Look out for more to come including an all original album of the same name. Mmm hmmm.

Another incredibly magical and powerful Sunday morning Ecstatic Dance at the legendary Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali! 💃✨

This is my favourite dance floor in the entire world. It's such an absolute honour and privilege to share my magic in this wonderful space. 🙌🏻

I swear, every time I DJ here, it just somehow keeps getting better and better. Every single time, I'm completely amazed and humbled by the level of embodiment, presence, expression, joy, and beauty that this dance community brings to the world. 🔥

🌊 I can't even begin to describe how beautiful it was to DJ an ecstatic dance on a beach, looking at the bright blue ocean the whole time on the island of Maui, with dancers everywhere, swimming, grooving and feeling it all, together, outside in the sunshine. So, I'll let the music express it 🐋

Stepping in last-minute for Deya Dova at Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada, the crowd embraced the unexpected, dancing fervently. Despite Dova's absence, the event thrived, enveloped in the warmth of community support. The night, filled with vibrant rhythms and camaraderie, culminated in a resounding success, uniting hearts through music.

Xochiquetzal

Unlike several other figures in the complex of Aztec female earth deities connected with agricultural and sexual fecundity, Xochiquetzal is always depicted as an alluring and youthful woman, richly attired and symbolically associated with vegetation and in particular flowers. 

She was followed by a retinue consisting of birds and butterflies. Worshippers wore animal and flower masks at a festival, held in her honor every eight years. 

Ichpōchtli is an alternative form of Xochiquetzal representative of beauty, sex, crafts, fertility, dance, music, singing, weaving, magic, and love spells. Marigolds are sacred to her.
