Tom EQ - April 2013 Mixtape

TK is a new project with me and Kyle Watson. We are aiming to release the grittier side of bass music taking influences from garage, drum and bass, house and techno and mashing them all together to bring you something new yet familiar.

Tom EQ has been producing since 2008 and has releases on Box of cats, Jack Union, Dirtybird, Wearhouse, Gung Ho!, Simma, Jack Knife and others. He is 1/2 of "The Potato Heads" along with Jeff Doubleu and is most recently collaborating with Kyle Watson under the moniker of "TK".

Tom recently launched the "Box of Cats" record label with his friends and international DJ/ producers: Kyle Watson, Jeff Doubleu, Wongo, Marc Spence and Jak Z. WWW.soundcloud.com/box-of-cats

There have been many plays of his tracks, remixes and mix sets on national radio stations around the world from BBC and Kiss in the UK to tripple J in Australia. Tom EQ is an in demand artist who once sat in a seat next to Dolf Lundgren on a flight to LA.

Tom EQ is widely credited with discovering Pete Tong.

Tom EQ has been lucky enough to DJ all over the world in Countries like Australia, South Africa, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Latvia and UK. Including at the infamous Ministry of Sound where he once played a 3 hour set warming up for David Guetta which almost ended up in a toilet tradgedy since the club was too packed and the gents were too far away.

Tom EQ is a born and bred turntable junkie who likes talking about himself from a 3rd person perspective.

All this and still at the tender age of 15.
