A really super all round job done by all here guys and that was AWESOME....

big fan of all things Rush and this is starting out with a cool unique take on this classic.

kick ass cover... really paid a great homage to the original.... solo was spot on , synths and guitar... awesome bass too :)

We discovered Rush exactly at the same time, opening for our very fist Kiss concert.  Been fans ever since our adventure out of town in 1975 for a concert with two car-loads of friends. 
 Tommy and I went back and forth for a year, maybe two over the choice for the first Rush cover, Limelight.  We knew then we needed to find a second song to cover and out of the blue Tommy brings up one I hadn't really considered, Subdivisions. 
 After discovering the most EXCELLENT drum version of the song on Youtube by the talented Josh Steffen, who's linked below in credits, Subdivisions became the goal.  When I received the first version of the music in an email, I sat stunned, wondering "why bother singing over this?"  I can't find ANYTHING wrong, out of place or missing from this track.  And yes, Tommy says "You ARE singing it" and away we go!  I suppose we'll be dedicating this faithful cover of a Rush classic to Rush fans everywhere, Vivien and the entire #RushFamily on Twitter!  You folks ROCK!

Note- Josh played with the record and we played with Josh. No grid system here-kind of old school. A real Mini Moog was also used. Big thanks to Josh and his excellent musicianship and offering the track for anyone to use. We still have a lot of covers and originals we will be releasing this year. I would like to thank all the friends that have supported my music all these years on Sound Cloud. I’ve had the privilege of working with some wonder artists here as well. The last several years I had the privilege of working with Randy Hedrick (Hedd RoXX) who lived two houses down from me growing up, who knew he could sing like that-I got lucky. Sadly Randy passed away in early 2021 unexpectedly. I was blessed to have him as a friend and a songwriting partner. So I hope you enjoy the Original and cover songs we attempted.
