I always had an ear for different Music to the people around me as a youngster through my father's influence through his musical tastes. Prince / James Brown / Massive Attack / Harold Budd to name a few. 

My main inspirations though didn't hit me until the age of 15 when I first experienced the genre of music that would grip his musical taste that is House Music.

Out In the Sticks and Manchesters Sankys Soap REDLIGHT,It was the Deep warm up sets of Craig Edwards from the Sticks and Manchester's own Krysko of Sankey's Soap's Red Light where I got my Deep Roots from.

These nights are what got me started with Djing in and around the Bars & Clubs in the North & South of England.. Huddersfields Club Non / The Tube (Halifax) / Sankeys Soap & The Attic (Manchester) / Mambo (Reading) / Subb 89 (Reading) / Ministry Of Sound (London) / Factory (London)/ Kraak Gallery (Manchester) / Cargo (London) / Pacha (London) / McQueen (Shoreditch London). 

It was then time to take the love of House out of the booth and into the studio where I was to take the producer suda-name Deep Trouble... Through Deep Trouble I have had a string of releases including remixes for DJN Project & the House Music legend Arnold Jarvis (MediaWave) / BeatenSoul & Tyree Cooper (Seemless Recordings) / Sinuous (platinum) / Kristopher Muse As well as his Own Productions Let It Out (Baldeelox) & Keep That Record (BlackSoul Music)/ Feel So - FTC Records / Italian Label Golden Factory Records / Plastik People Records / Love 2 Be. I have worked with some incredible artists such as Nica Brooke / Kamal Imani / Arnold Jarvis / DJN Project You'll find deep melodic vibes throughout my Music. Erstwhile disco party starters, occasional radio hosts and podcasters. Brewed in Nottingham, drunk in London.

Set up by DJs Nick Shaw and Ed Cotton and promoter Olly Hewett, Basement Boogaloo began life beneath the streets of Nottingham and developed into one of the city's best-loved parties. It had three simple ingredients: a dancefloor full of like-minded musical souls, a crystal-clear sound system and some of the best DJ talent from across the disco galaxy. 

Here you can listen to some of our radio shows and mixes from the past few years.

Over the course of 7 or so years, the parties moved from Bar None (a tiny basement bolthole) to the Maze (a rowdy local venue which perfectly suited the night's sweaty brand of hedonism) via famed bank holiday all-dayers and NYE shakedowns in Notts, and appearances at the Electric Chair, the Electric Elephant and the Garden Festival in Croatia. The gang also hosted a series of parties and two killer NYEs at The Star of Bethnal Green and a series of more intimate basement affairs in Stoke Newington, London.

Basement Boogaloo would have been nothing without the guests it hosted over the years. Consisting of a fine selection of family and friends and some bona fide scene heavyweights, they included:
