I'm currently taking a temporary/possible permanent hiatus from this project.  I started making beats and recording rap/hip hop songs at 16 while still in high school.  I've recorded a lot of friends over the years and happily shared with them things I learned along the way.  I've gone by several aliases since I started and finally landed on Tommy Rose in 2019.  As I've grown as an individual, I've wanted to get away from listening and making music that promotes violence, drug use, promiscuity, disrespecting women, materialism, and self worship, to name a few things.  I quickly learned that glorifying these low vibrational things was slowly killing me mentally and physically, and losing some close friends changed my perspective entirely. I'm keeping these songs up because I still appreciate them as creative art, and they reflect my mental state at the time they were recorded.  If you're reading this, I hope that you do what you need to do to be happy and healthy, and I hope that my music can help in some way. - Tommy Rose
