With a musical career spanning almost 20 years, originally as a studio engineer from 1993 and then under a number of aliases, the masterful drum & bass craftsman SURVIVAL has expertly shaped his personal sound. Building up a formidable back catalogue, with regular releases on Dispatch, Symmetry, Critical, Exit, Shogun, DNAudio & Quarantine, Survival has also generated a spate of brilliant solo and collaborative releases with Silent Witness, Alix Perez & Octane & DLR for his own label, Audio Tactics. 
Alongside further work with dBridge, Fierce, Sabre & Ant TC1, and Break both his solo work and collaborations have become increasingly sought after, whilst productions with Silent Witness have continued to mature, forming a remarkably diverse joint sound; it’s a partnership of the highest calibre.  Dispatch Recordings are set to release an album from the duo, in early 2013 ‘In From The Wild’ that showcases the pair’s exceptional talents, working alongside artists such as Klute, Cern, Sara Mitra & Submotion Orchestra lead, singer Ruby Wood. 
When combining the new album with an exceptional release history dating back to the mid 90's and an exciting new venture into deeper bass music under the alias of both South Soul Project, and Basenji you can understand why Survival is so highly regarded within the scene; a true architect of the genre.

His trusted skills have been reigned in to remix seminal drum & bass classics including Shy FX’s ‘Bambaata’, Die’s ‘Clear Skyz’, Commix’s ‘Talk to Frank’ and Ram Trilogy’s ‘Gridlock’ as well as Bloc Party’s UK top-5 hit ‘The Prayer’.

Equally praised for his DJ skills, Break maintains a consistent touring schedule that sees him playing across the globe on a weekly basis on the stages of the world’s biggest drum & bass institutions; from Fabric, Detonate, Bedlam, Warning, Metalheadz and Hospitality in the UK to the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the breadth of Europe, playing headline shows or back2back sets with the likes of Die, Goldie and Dillinja.

Launching his own label, Symmetry Recordings in 2006, Break honed and polished his sound with each single and released his fist album, also entitled ‘Symmetry’ in 2008. Featuring forays into ambient, dubstep, funk, hip hop, house and soul amongst an arsenal of sure-fire drum & bass, ‘Symmetry’ earned Break an army of new fans from outside the d&b world with tracks picked up by the likes of techno legends Laurent Garnier and Josh Wink. 

Two years later Break has risen the bar further still via his second LP; ‘Resistance’. Featuring collaborations with No U-Turn mastermind Nico, Bristol’s DJ Die, super-duo Calyx & Teebee, DNAudio cohorts Silent Witness and Survival, Shogun Audio’s SpectraSoul and vocalists Kyo and SP:MC, the album offers a glorious journey through the spectrum of Break’s styles and influences and a clear indication of where his talents will lead him next. 

The next chapter for Break is signing new exciting artists to coincide with his own output on the label. Keep a keen eye on Symmetry as this is the label for the real sounds of Drum & Bass, absolutely no compromise.

Jungle Syndicate is a collective of DJs, producers and promoters bringing a mix of amen infused drum and bass and deep dark jungle breakcore to ravers through our own productions, our mixes and our events; currently based in London, Bristol, Manchester, Cornwall and Devon.

Hustle Audio began life in February 2009 with James Green (Decade) and Phil Innes (Phil Hustle) teaming up to create an imprint that served as a base for Nottinghamshire and midlands producers and artists.

After gathering rapid pace in the scene, the label quickly spread it's wings worldwide. Many new signings followed resulting in a torrent of fresh beats. 

With numerous article features, great commercial and pirate radio exposure, a dedicated following of fans and producers alike, Hustle Audio has gained deserved respect amongst the highest ranks within Drum &amp; Bass.

We're here to provide what we think is a quality output, nothing else. No "philosophies", no pretentious ideals or stereotypical agendas, just solid music.

We share a mutual love of dark, techy drum & bass, although we are involved with a range of other bass-led genres. We DJ and write music individually and together. We run the AutomAte family of digital labels, including AutomAte, AutomAte Deep and AutomAte Tech. AutomAte aims to bring you the best in edgy drum & bass, aimed square at the dancefloor, from rising stars to established artists, from chunky steppers to dark rollers and all manner of other fancy-ticklers. The parent label has already chalked up Radio 1 airplay from Friction, support from Drum & Bass Arena and has caught the attention of more DJs than you could shake a stick-insect at.

The Deep label aims to put the warmth back into drum & bass with a range of deep, eclectic, inspirational music, influenced by anything from the Far East to South America and everything in between. AutomAte Deep was launched in 2013 and has already picked up Radio 1 airplay from Nihal plus support from Raiden, EBK, Morphy, The Untouchables, Mental Forces, J Robinson, Ortokore, Philth, Stunna, Marukomu, Dexta & Mauoq (Diffrent Music).

The Tech label showcases a variety of gritty drum & bass music, from amen tracks and heavy-steppers to neuro and hardcore styles. We like it grimy with a slight attitude problem and an infectious groove.
