Blues on blogs (2007), was a birthday present for a friend's 60 year anniversary. The bass-line (starting with E) is a direct musical interpretation of the friend's name, where all the letters have been used in their correct order. The lyrics have been taken from a handful of blogs I found on internet, and are all one way or the other referring to the friends situation and personality. The vocals have been sung by the composer (me).
The photo of the tree on the road fork is taken from the internet as well.

Winter Whispers

After hearing so much about the devastation that Hurricane Sandy has so far created on the east coast of America this song just kind of wrote itself after I playing around on my ukelele for the first time in quite a while. 
Recorded this on my mac at midnight with tonsillitis on the way but I just really wanted to post it before it was too late and I hope it brings some comfort to anyone this crazy storm has affected.

The first 1000 lines of the Human Genome

The Vigeland Mausoleum in Oslo is known for it's incredible acoustics. It has a reverb tail of about 15 seconds, letting the music swirl around the arc ceiling and the walls covered with fresco paintings. The space became so much part of the music, molding and resounding the sound of the clarinet, that it almost felt as if we were sitting inside of a musical instrument.
