When Kraftwerk and Moroder initiated a new era of electronic dance music, Joya's journey into the universe of infinite possibilities began, and has been taken with tremendous enthusiasm for sounds and rhythms in recent years.
 In 2010 there was no stopping and Berlin clubs and open airs were filled with minimalist-electro-groovy and driving techno beats.
 As a resident Djane, JOyA has been operating in different collectives of the Berlin techno scene for 10 years now.
 Passionate about researching different means of production in the digital and analogue area, a new music project was born that, like an instrument, bridges the gap between analogue and digital diversityAs JuX, JOyA and Xanu combine playful techno beats with funky rhythms on a modular system.

Baba the Knife’s musical journey began as an Indie guitarist and bass player, gigging his weekends away in small-town basement clubs. Then came 60s, then Blues and finally, once he lost his heart to Berlin: electronic music. Techno is what stuck. Powerful, dark, let’s call it Deep Space Techno defines his style today.

Baba’s passion goes way beyond DJ performances though. He probably wouldn’t admit to it, but is a workaholic behind the scenes, frequently organizing raves, party series and large-scale festivals such as „Hans&Gloria“, „Monis Rache“, and recently „Bucht der Träumer“.

In 2013 he met notorious Schmeckefucks at a Berlin open air rave. They clicked immediately and soon after founded the Rebellion der Träumer collective, which has grown into a breeding pit of creative energy ever since, and recently kicked off their very own label.

Djulien Ferrantes who was born near Rostock is a typical northern light. Somewhat quiet, cautious and always courteous but in the right spot at the right time also forceful and determined. This is rather something cool in a sense that kind of born northern is broken by his creative quest. From a young age he began to express himself through music and the way led him steadily upward. For some time the DJ craft has been a rather active but quite successful pastime. But with his move to Berlin he wanted more. He quickly adapted to the Berlin culture as though there was a nearly seamless transition between Rostock and Berlin. Soon the time had then come for a decision which had to be made because the music took more and more time. Without further ado he quit his steady job and began training as an Audio Engineer. Through this he was able to gain new experiences, contacts and most importantly knowledge. After his final one led to another. Due to his very own style of music which is composed of a mixture of World, Deephouse and Afrotech and his very good quality in producing “Grossstatdvögel” noticed him and signed him as an artist. He is not however satisfied with his already good range of creative musical work. In addition to being a producer and DJ, he has began training as a sound designer to satisfy his experimental side and may be able to get into the film and television business. So if you are looking for a music loving, experimental, flexible, enthusiastic but also equally responsible and uncomplicated artist, is Djulien Ferrante's always a good advice.
