i'm having some problems with impedance matching. What is your preferred method of matching your impedances? A hi-z input preamp? Or transformer based like the Hosa mit-129? 

Just wanted to say thank you for all that you guys do. I was always curious about film sound effects and sound design for some time. I'm a producer and artist, Yada, Yada In all honest I bumped into your podcast by accident while searching microphones to prepare for a field trip recording for an up an coming project. I'm super geeked out and ready to down load all your shows. :) I was on the train laughing while listening to one of the episode about the animal recordings while others on board where looking at me like I was crazy. In Episode 2, titled Getting Out & Recording, the podcast rolls out its first 2 pre-produced feature stories.
