From underground funk rock in Kings Cross in the nineties to touring nationally with his own fringe shows it has been, for Michael, a very long way to the shop to get his sausage roll. Along that road though he has moved many a soul with his passion, unique sound and prolific songwriting. He's the kind of artist who you're lucky to know about and will always remember once you do.

Producer Jac Bowie (The Burlesque Ball, Miss Burlesque Australia, The Ruby Revue, Grab My Junk) has had a passionate affair with French House since Cassius 1999 hit the clubs. The unique french disco sound has stuck with her ever since.

She has long collected music from the period, and DJ’d numerous events until finally, decided in 2011 to open her own night, specialising on French House.

La Femme is our brand. Expect more nights soon under this brand including “100% Neu Disco”, “100% French Lounge” and an annual tour, with some very special international guests.
