Asma Ghanem is a Palestinian visual artist & experimental musician, born in Damascus-Syria(1991). She has a B.A. from The International Academy of Arts-Palestine & M.A. degree in Audio-Visual Arts from ISDAT(École supérieure des beaux-arts de Toulouse)in France. Asma has participated in exhibitions, residencies and workshops in Italy, Germany, France, Austria, USA, Lebanon, UAE, Norway, Jordan and Palestine and was awarded the 3rd prize in the YAYA (The Young Artist Award- The Hassan Hourani Award, 2016)for her experimental music project (Homeland is…). She was also awarded a special mention in the Palest’in & out Festival in Paris in 2015 for her Photography project. Asma participated as a Fellow in OneBeat 2017 global music exchange, a U.S. State Department initiative managed by Bang on a Can’s Found Sound Nation that each year brings outstanding individual musicians from around the world to the U.S. for four weeks of collaborative creation, performance, and engagement with communities.

TOÑO BARRIO, La banda ganadora de Salsa al Parque 2013 en Bogotá, recarga baterías con su segunda producción titulada “Con Toda la Gallada”, donde participan los legendarios Hermanos Lebrón y el reconocido salsero Mauro Castillo. 
Luego de llevar su música a China, Francia, México y Ecuador, regresaron a Colombia a trabajar en este segundo disco que contiene entre otros, la canción “Con Mis Panas”, la cual hará parte de la banda sonora de la nueva película “Que viva la Música” Dirigida por Carlos Moreno. 
EL nombre TOÑO BARRIO es un homenaje al barrio San Antonio de la ciudad de cali, lugar que los vió nacer en el año 2006. 
En 2009 la agrupación se radicó en Bogotá y lanzó su primera producción musical llamada LATIN GROOVE. 
Su puesta en escena es un performance de 11 músicos en tarima, con un formato no tradicional y muy novedoso dentro de la salsa.
Es una banda que ha logrado encontrar un estilo propio para hacer este género en Colombia.
