Ukrainian Field Notes - 18 July 2022 - with Burning Woman, Vlad Suppish, Zavoloka

Alyson is Track 12 of my wip album.
 Challenged myself to go against the grain and do a 4 to the Floor beat but gave it my style. 
Sounds are from my Roland Integra 7, Fantom 8, XO for the drums, Ableton Live 11 (Push 2) for some drum sequencing and my usual effects plugins: 
Valhalla, Solid State Logic, Arturia Effects, Crystalline, Ozone NeoVerb, Gulfoss and some others that I can't recall right now.
Mixed on my Solid State Logic UC1 and x2 UF8 inside Ableton Live 11.

Rhythm Rock

Harmony, happiness, tranquility. Things that are almost illusory, terribly fragile, ghostly and unattainable. It takes only a moment for the most beautiful things to turn into a pile of debris.

This album is the internal reflection of the war, which has passed through all our rational and irrational perception, feelings, emotions. Which is always inside us, bringing us terrible pain every moment. A quiet song of a little bloodied soul that is heard from somewhere in the ruins of lost happiness.

Disaster

2015 was a good year for us as humanity. Triumphant closing of the Solar system early exploration era with NASA's mission 'New Horizon' and incredible explosion of brilliant new music, btw not only on Spotify - that's not so bad. When we have a lot of wonderful music, state of soul and mind gonna be great too. And when that is true, then everything else is gonna be good.

Back in the days, we, 'tonux.gix' started writing our own music because there was nothing truly worth listening :) For real, that was a good half part of our motivation. But we have also changed from then. Then we would like to be a bit like this, in some aspect, and a little like that... Now we just want to be ourselves. We express it in our music and in our greatest project - 'Nux' 3d-enviro:

Telling about us - tonux.gix is a mixed team. We gradually make our 3d-enviro and other projects. Music will wonderfully complement a virtual environment when we'll share it. Today music by itself can't be popular as previously. Great artist, Andy Warhol long time ago said these words about 15 minutes of popularity... That's why we gradually do it all from different sides - network projects and artistical ones. We will get our chance when we join all together. At the moment we just enjoy the process:) It doesn't matter what we do, it is always some artistic search for us. We spend our time in this way - we don't play someone's provided game, just play doing own game (https://nuxproject.blogspot.com/), if it possible to say like this... 

This channel looks poor... We almost don't give attention to it because that gigantic project - this 3d world takes a lot of time. Music isn't the main what we want to do in our lives. But still we can make not bad sounds. We feel free with most powerful creative software and we use ardour, muse and oth. as pure data or supercollider. Not all of them are available for ordinary windows-users... We even experiment with interactive non-linear music, it's when musical piece doesn't exist as a linear soundtrack. It's music, which changes in dependence of who and how listens it, so there's never no single outcome.
