A colored, strictly limited teaser 12 Inch featuring two exclusive new tracks:

Side A - a warm, lazy dub-disco track by L.A.'s electronic-slow-disco musician TURBOTITO
Side B - a funky Vibes4YourSoul Remix for mysterious New York artist 1-900.

Both tracks will be released on our sister label Too Slow Too Disco NEO, invented by Dj Supermarkt for modern, warm Sunset Disco.

Side A is also the first track from our upcoming summer compilation THE SUNSET MANIFESTO 2.
(featuring exclusive tracks/remixes by Poolside, Young Gun Silver Fox, Prep & Eddie Chacon, Woolfy, Lovetempo, Joel Sarakula a.m.m.)
Side B will exclusively be available only on this 12 Inch

The tracks take the listener on a warm trip into a modern, laidback electronic sunset disco land, where groovy Westcoast-vibes meet dreamy Balearic sounds, mixed with a modern Nu-Disco/Daytime Disco style.

TSTD NEO is the outlet we are using to unearth modern laidback, smooth, slow sunset disco vibes. We are looking for a warm mix of soulful Westcoast/Balearics and modern electronic production. Because for us TSTD always has been about a vibe/feeling, not a certain time period in musical history.

After a five year break mainly concentrating on the late 70s/early 80s Westcoast Soul/Yacht/AOR sound, we finally dive deep into the modern world of our beloved sister-label Too Slow To Disco NEO (for the third time after 2018s TSTD NEO - En France and 2020s The Sunset Manifesto excursions).
But of course it wasn’t a real 5 year break since the first Sunset Manifesto compilation, as in the meantime we also released a few digital TSTD Neo singles, and – more importantly - our "Too Slow To Disco NEO - FM" playlist on spotify (handcurated by Dj Supermarkt every week and now hosting more than 1500 tracks of mellow, modern sunshine vibes) was growing steadily and becoming a new, important fixpoint in the TSTD musical universe.

So it makes sense that we present the "crème de la crème" of new slo/mo Nu-Disco/Sunset Disco/Daytime Disco acts in the TSTD format, a luxurious compilation, with artists from all across the globe: Not only from the two homelands of that modern slow disco sound, Los Angeles/California and France, but also from Beijing, Montreal, Mexico, London, New York, Stockholm, Rotterdam… the moon, you name it! This music is more a state of mind, a feeling, then a geographical thing.

Lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer, known for his work as the singer and bassist of Poolside and The Rapture. For Safer, Lovetempo has been a way to fuse saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Following a run of well-received releases on Brooklyn tastemakers Razor-N-Tape and toucan sounds, Lovetempo now brings TSTD this special edit of his cover of Anita Baker’s “Same Ole Love (365 Days a Year),”. The track features New York nightlife icon Prince Terrence on vocals, bringing his signature touch to a timeless classic. Originally self-released in 2023, Lovetempo has extended and dubbed out their original version, transforming it into a hypnotic slow-disco groove that feels as cool and effortless as a summer breeze. Expect warm falsetto floating over the most laid-back, organic disco-bossa rhythms. Tasting notes: perfect for brunches, poolside parties, getting ready for a night out, or winding down after the club with a chilled Loire Valley red, this track is a stylish, feel-good essential for any occasion. The original was TSTD’s favorite track of 2024, there was only one problem... it wasn’t long enough! So please enjoy this delightfully extended, slightly dubbed version.
