With the end of the year nearing, for most people this means taking some time for retrospection. Looking back on the past year, on everything that has been experienced and all that has been felt. Maybe also on what has been longed for, needs that have not been met and are calling for attention 

These can be some emotional and challenging times, something not totally unknown.. listening to music by talented producers and artists gives me a lot of positive energy and feelings of joy and positivity. Therefore I am sharing a new mix with you, wishing it can accompany you while looking back on the past year, while dancing with friends or alone and hoping the music can bring you as much joy as it gave me while creating this recording 🫶

Woaah, that was quiet intense! Thanks for all the people who danced with me through the rain, I really enjoyed this special closing at this lovely festival! 

Thanks to @sahrabass for writing and recording the lovely intro story for the set and the outro track (which we developed together for last years @bassaramusic gig - we hope to release that soon!). 

Lots of love to @iva-bodul for beeing such a good travel buddy, helping me when preparing my set, giving me feedback and drinks, dancing, laughing and everything <3!

When we arrived on sunday, it was all (still) a summer(nights) dream on the island and I enjoyed checking out all the places (and especially the funky float I should do the closing on on monday). As the weather forecasts seem to manifest on some heavy temperature drop and rain, I was a little bit nervous how that will work out with the setting on/by the water.
When I woke up on monday I read the message that my gig was moved to the Creatures Corner - which was in fact the best thing that could happen to me (so for that - thanks to the weather gods ;)). I really love that stage, the crew who build it, the soundsystem and the whole setting <3!

Initially I had planned to record my LP in a blended, uninterrupted fashion, but decided against it for numerous reasons. It was great to get the opportunity to do this mix – to blend a good chunk of the LP tracks, along with some of the more club-orientated tracks I’ve also got coming out soon.

The more we live in the new realities, the harder it becomes to imagine what life would be like if the virus thing had not happened at all. It’s only a matter of time when we’ll run out of days we had planned before the pandemic, which became invisible pages in some unwritten book. We’ll then come to terms with the new days, realizing that we are going to divide life before the isolation and after it, stuck amid some incomprehensible present, a what-we-could-have-done past and the what-comes-ahead future. No matter how fast we come to terms with the fact that we need to redefine and re-plan everything, and no matter how soon we decide to abstain from planning anything at all, we are nonetheless going to have a small and insignificant feeling of regret for the days we thought were important and were going to change the way we felt and the way saw things. And those “unfulfilled days” will remain the only link between the former and future realities.
@vikenarman and @acidpauli’s six-hour set they played at @Rambalkoshe marked, in some sense, the beginning of their joint performances. They were supposed to play b2b all night long at Berlin’s Watergate club today to officially kick start the new chapter both of them were so passionate about. To celebrate such a milestone, we are publishing an excerpt from the set this unbelievable symbiosis played at Rambalkoshe a year ago and took around hundred people to a different dimension, filled with nothing but incredible and infinite energy.
