"It was meant to be a recovery day — quiet, healing. But the weight came back, heavier than before. Each time I stood, something pulled me down again. The hours blurred, full of silence, setbacks, and slow breaths.
Still, I kept trying — not out of hope, but habit. And somehow, in the end, I was on my feet. Not strong. Not whole. Just standing. And maybe, for today, that was enough." 

This unique selection, from mindfulness to ambient sections, developes further to minimal patterns and comes with deepness.

I don't know, if this album title is related to the fact, that the upper world is a term from some shamanistic traditions, which is meant as a place of wisdom, love, healing and compassion. It is a place where we can get a bigger perspective on hurt and tuff experiences. ..we hurt and get hurt. and hurt others as well. thats life. but we learn through that. no matter what.

Prince Mooi, known in the electronic music scene as Vli M, is a South African DJ, producer from (Stretford, Johannesburg) and label founder whose journey is deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for sound. His love for music and deejaying began at just 14 years old, setting the foundation for a path defined by rhythm, experimentation, and growth.

In 2019, Vli M took his craft further by stepping into music production, channeling his influences into a signature style that blends deep, atmospheric textures with driving grooves. Since then, his music has resonated on respected imprints such as Piranha Siberia Dub, Kopoc Label, Deep Music Frequencies, and Deep Obsession Recordings, gaining recognition within the global deep and dub techno communities.

As a visionary beyond the decks, Vli M is also the founder of three independent record labels: Jive Afrika Recordings, Pink Couch Records, and Barber Music Rec. Each platform showcases not only his own creativity but also provides a space for emerging talent, reflecting his commitment to shaping and uplifting the underground electronic music landscape.

With an ear for detail and a heart for innovation, Vli M continues to push boundaries, curating soundscapes that connect deeply with listeners and dancefloors alike.

Logbook. Exploration mission.

Day 1. The planet is dead. An anomaly is detected — the time flow is slightly distorted.

Day 2. Landed in the central crater. The clocks of our suits show different times from the clocks on the ship. The gap is increasing.

Day 4. Logs contain records of events that never happened. A report of tomorrow’s evacuation appeared in the system. No one wrote it.

Day 5. We found footprints leading from the landing site to the crater, identical to ours. The ship log was discovered nearby. Final entry: “Do not enter the crater.”

Log transmission terminated. The crew did not reestablish contact.
