Oh ja, da lauert etwas unheimliches im Dunkeln, die Spannung ist richtig greifbar. Klasse Instrumentierung, schon mal ein gelungener Einsatz für Dein neues Cello. Das Bild ist super gemacht, aber das Rätsel kann ich nicht auflösen. Eine Eule könnte solche Augen haben, aber die wäre ja nicht so unheimlich. Aber egal, ganz großes Kino, Torben. 🎶💛

Jetzt bist du aber auch der Spannungsschiene, was? ;-) Man merkt, du verfeinerst dein kompositorisches Repertoire. Die Ausdrucksweisen werden gezielter. Crescendi, Effekte, tiefer Chor, gut eingesetzte Percussion, chromatische Elemente. Richtig gut.

A requiem for my sister Lisa, and 4th movement of a work I have planned to complete as I have time and inspiration for each part of my outline.

The title comes from my daughter, who heard me as I was playing with the initial melodic idea, and said it sounds like a mourning bird.

This piece is best heard through headphones or quality stereo speakers to hear all the details.

Hi, I'm Torben Fugger, a composer from Koblenz (Germany) who focuses primarily on cinematic orchestral music. In my pieces, which often fall into the adventure or fantasy genre, I attach great importance to strong and catchy melodies and an emotional impact.

I think that the many years of listening to Johns Williams music on my Walkman while delivering newspapers in my youth have left their mark. As did the countless hours of exposure to the music of Howard Shore, Hans Zimmer and Michael Kamen. To put it briefly: I'm a film music nerd and you can definitely hear that in my own music.
