MM CAST 24 - ENZIO ETCHABERRI

Introducing Enzio Etchaberri this month. The Dutch DJ/producer has been shaking up the Berlin nights for quite some time now, with clubs like Renate, Oxi, Sameheads or Sisyphos, to name a few, bearing witness to his talent and his electrifying energy. Enzio not only holds a residency at the 'infamous' Sisyphos club but also curates the DJ lineup there. 

International venues and festivals like Melt, Garbicz or Feel have featured the energetic sets from the dutch artist, sets highly influenced by Italo Disco and House from the early 90's, where Enzio showcases his passion for arpeggiated rhythms and cosmic sounds.

Get ready your dancing shoes and feel yourself like you'd be in "Wintergaten", if you've ever been there you know what im talking about.

If Marie is not in the booth spinning records, you will more than likely find her on the dancefloor.
Though highly respected by her peers for her vinyl-only mixing style and impeccable selections, she's a fan first and a club kid at heart, which seems to be a major reason for her ability to immediately connect with all different crowds in various settings. As a DJ, Marie Lung is known for her dynamic and engaging sets, which seamlessly blend together different styles of house music. Her performances have taken her to some of the most prestigious festivals, including Fusion, Garbicz or Nachtiville and clubs like Frankfurt's Robert Johnson, Hamburg's Pudel and Berlin's Heideglühen, to name just a few. Having worked on beat making and production for quite a while now, she has just signed her first 12" Vinyl EP "Ivy Blues" to Manchester based label Forever Dreaming.
Despite her growing success, Marie remains grounded and focused on her art, constantly pushing herself to evolve and experiment with new sounds and techniques. With her unique style and infectious energy, Marie Lung is definitely an artist to keep an eye out for.

Torture the Artist - your source for contemporary electronic music

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its ninth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.
