Funnuvojere's ninth installment is a collaborative work between label head Massimiliano Pagliara and CockTail d'Amore resident as well as Philoxenia Records founder Luigi Di Venere under their Banana Moon alias. The debut four tracker called Delphinium Blue – in reference to one of Derek Jarman's favored flowers – not only combines different moods and vibes but also musical diversity. Full Service, the A2, brings Breaks, a rather funky bass and an organ, reviving those 90s feel good moments, together and ensure that the track is not only ready for an autumn nightlife season but make one experience proper dance floor moves when being played out in a club due to its driving character. So Full Service does exactly what its title suggests, it delivers an all-around carefree package for dancers. 

Banana Moon's EP Delphinium Blue will be released on Funnuvojere on November 1st, 2021.

The house at the end of the street lay empty and derelict, it had been unloved for many years. He passed it every single day, and each time a haze of memories flooded back, much of his childhood was spent within those four walls. 'How far he'd come since then', he thought to himself - things had changed unfathomably. Hurdles had been crossed and barriers had been broken down; he'd shed his former skin and become something he never thought possible.

After three decades of making music, Belgian dance music veteran Red D is finally releasing his debut album. The 15-track record, Fantasize Then Realize, was spawned during lockdown while the producer had plenty of free time on his hands.

Compiled of three previously released tracks - taken from Red Basics 1&2 and 3&4 under his alias of the same name - and 12 brand spanking new tunes, the LP is the result of a rich career spent immersed in the worlds of house and techno. Also motivated and inspired by the musical relationships he's made over the years, the record features collaborations and contributions from his 'go to' singer Lady Linn, his FCL and We Play House partner San Soda, Belgian mainstay Lefto, Detroit's Reggie Dokes and close friend Classy Lassy.

Jan Schulte aka Bufiman releases his drum rhythm versions from his latest Dekmantel LP ‘Albumsi'.

In his own words: “Hi, my name is Bufiman and I do drum music for world peace and dance music for frogs. I recently released a longplayer called ‘Albumsi' on Dekmantel. While doing the mix-downs for ‘Albumsi' I realized how much effort I had put in it and how it might even seem overproduced in comparison to other records of mine. This was the result of ‘Albumsi’ being in the first year after quitting all other jobs to focus completely on music. It was the first time I had a studio, some gear and time all at once, at the same moment. So during the mixing process I realized how carefully and loaded the drum tracks were, I even had unused leftover drum material… I also just found a Dutch record heavily inspired by the classic Jive Rhythm Trax with the name 'Mix Your Own Breaks - Construction in Music' with an accompanying text that inspired my idea to do some of my own rhythm trax versions: "The compositions on this LP only consist of rhythms and sound effects. They can be used as: a transition between two records, to be mixed as a break in between and for the production of jingles. Have a lot of fun with these breaks!" Or in Dutch, as originally printed on the record: VEEL MIX-PLEZIER MET DEZE BREAKS - Een multifunctionele LP voor Discjockeys, Thuismixers en geluids-amateurs.”

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its ninth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.
